Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a temporal locking device of a floating base connector. CONSTITUTION: Temporal locking devices 4 and 5 include a pair of jaw parts 5 driven by control means 4. The control means 4 includes a pedal 43 for driving a piston 41 through a drive finger 42. The piston 41 includes two notches 4121 and 4122 which determine two stable positions of the jaw parts 5, that is, a lock position and a lock release position. The drive finger 42 also drives a cam 45 whose head 450 is engaged with the notches 4121 and 4122. The temporal locking devices 4 and 5 also include a wheel with a manual reset knurlizer. A space application is also used as its application.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To change the size of a shielded cable connector corresponding to the number of connecting cables by freely detaching or attaching the modules having plural modules and a module cap from or to the predetermined positions of the cap. CONSTITUTION: Modules 6 have a housing of insulating material, which is internally provided with a center grounding contact 18 and two signal-line contacts 19 on both sides of the contact 18. Those contacts 18 and 19 are arranged in a row. Outside walls 20 and 21 extending longitudinally are formed with guide ribs 22 and 23 adapted to fit to associated guide slots. The modules 6 are thus attached to a module cap 5 only in one direction. The modules 6 are typically snap-fastened to the cap 5. For that attachment, either or both of the slots are formed at their position near the upper wall of the cap 5 with a small projection adapted to fit into a recession formed on the ribs 22 and 23.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To lessen the risk of slide powder by providing an elastic lug which protrudes outwards when the slide is released and a notch which prevents the slide from being completely extracted. CONSTITUTION: Initially, a slide 14 is inserted in a receptacle 10 until a projection 32 is hold in a notch 34 and the projection 32 is moved backwards to a position of contact, an open edge of a groove and the position of insertion of the projection 32 being coincided. At this time, a plug 12 is mounted on a guide groove which leads to a stud of the receptacle 10 and, at this position, a plug contact point is not connected to a contact point in the receptacle 10. The guide groove is consisted of a central guide groove 40 for accepting a projection 28a and a notch 38a or 38b. When pushing and inserting the slide 14, the plug 12 whose facing part makes contact with the receptacle 10 is inserted completely in the receptacle 10 and the slide 14 is locked elastically by a tab 36. In this constitution, the slide 14 requires much larger force for extraction from the receptacle 10 than for insertion it, so that the possibility for slide powder becomes low.
