Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a display-tilting mechanism for communication terminals, in which the display unit thereof can be tilted in both directions to switch over from a portrait orientation to a landscape orientation and vice versa. Further disclosed is an apparatus for rotating or tilting the display unit of a communications terminal and simultaneously slidably opening and closing the communications terminal. Further disclosed is a display-tilting mechanism of a communications terminal, which has an improved cam structure to thereby enable a slim structure of the terminal. Further disclosed is an apparatus for opening and closing a communications terminal in a swing and semi-automatic fashion, in which the retainer means has a transition point at an angle other than 90° to provide a structural stability.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a stand hinge for an electronic device, which is capable of standing an electronic device at different angles and positions. The present invention further provides an electronic device equipped with the same. The stand hinge of the present invention includes: a connecting member hinge- jointed to an electronic device to rotate in a first direction; and a supporting member for supporting the electronic device against a surface, the supporting member being hinge-jointed to the connecting member to rotate in a second direction different from the first direction.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sliding opening and closing device for a portable terminal. The sliding opening and closing device for a portable terminal according to the present invention includes: a first plate; a second plate slidably joined to the first plate; a cam profile formed at the first plate along a sliding direction of the second plate; and an elastic module mounted on the second plate, wherein one end of the elastic module is in contact with the cam profile to slide therealong. A guide part is formed at the first plate and the cam profile is formed along an edge portion of the guide part.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a step hinge for a portable communication terminal, and more particularly to a step hinge mounted to a portable communication terminal, which can rotate at various angles thereto. A step hinge for a portable communication terminal according the present invention, comprises: a housing; a rotating member mounted in the housing; a friction member mounted in the housing and contacting the rotating member; a belleville spring disposed in the housing so as to press the friction member and the rotating member for a tight contact therebetween.
Abstract:
A mechanism (4100) for slidably opening and closing a portable communication terminal which includes a main body and a slider body capable of slidably travelling on the main body to open or close the terminal, the mechanism comprising: (a) a fixing plate (4120) coupled to the main body; and (b) a slider plate (4110) coupled to the slider body in such a way as to slide with respect to the fixing plate (4120) (c) a zigzag spring (4142A) disposed between the fixing plate (4120) and the slider plate (4110), one end portion of the zigzag spring (4142A) being supported at a first position of the fixing plate (4120) and the other end portion thereof being supported at a second position of the slider plate (4110), (d) wherein the first zigzag spring is arranged to cause the slider plate (4110) to be resiliently biased towards sliding direction.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a camera protection apparatus for preventing foreign matters from entering a camera. The protection apparatus includes a shield frame being installed frontward of the camera lens and having a sliding space for opening front side of the lens. A blade is slidably installed in the sliding space to open and close front side of the lens. The blade is formed with a protrusion. A rotary lever is rotatably coupled with the shield frame. The rotary lever has a central opening formed at the rotational center thereof for opening front side of the lens. The rotary lever has a cam groove formed so as to be engaged with the protrusion such that rotation of the rotary lever causes the protrusion to move to open and close the blade. The camera protection apparatus exposes the camera when it is to be used, and otherwise to close the camera opening. Thus, foreign matters can be prevented from entering the camera.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a slider mechanism that can open both upwardly and downwardly. The slider mechanism of the present invention comprises: a first plate fixed to one of a main body and a display of the portable terminal; a second plate fixed to the other of the main body and the display, the second plate being slidably coupled to the first plate; a spring having one end coupled to the first plate and the other end coupled to the second plate; and a first stopper limiting one of an upward movement and a downward movement of the second plate, wherein a guide hole parallel to the movement of the second plate is formed at the first stopper mounted on one of the first plate and the second plate, and wherein a guide is formed at the other of the first plate and the second plate.
