Abstract:
In an electrically operated window screening arrangement, where the movement in one direction between two end positions corresponding to a screened and an unscreened, respectively, window is effected by winding draw cords or strings (3, 4) on at least one winding drum (5, 6) in a horizontal main frame or sash member (7), the winding drum is over a motor shaft (8) connected with an electric drive motor (9). The movement in the opposite direction is carried out by means of a constant force during simultaneous unwinding of said draw cord or string (3, 4). An end stop device comprises a contact (11) for disruption of the motor current during movement in said opposite direction by activation from a sensor (17). The motor shaft (8) is journalled in such a way that it may perform a limited tilting movement with axis of rotation in or at its connection with the drive motor (9), and the sensor comprises a contact member (17) belonging to said contact (11) and in abutment against a shaft part (8) positioned farthest away from the motor (9), the shaft (8) being spring-biassed in the opposite direction of the load produced by the draw cords or strings (3, 4).
Abstract:
A flashing arrangement for mounting of a roof element in a roof having a thin sheet-formed roofing comprises flashing elements for connection with the main frame members and is made from a sheet material. The flashing elements intended for connection with the side members of the main frame are of a substantially L-shaped cross section with an upright flange portion for bearing against the side member of the main frame and a flange portion protruding substantially parallel to the roof surface. The protruding flange portion is folded to form at least one slot in its longitudinal direction, said slot having an opening facing away from the main frame side member for receiving an edge portion of the thin sheet-formed roofing.
Abstract:
In a modular system for a building facade constructed from polygonal modules (1) comprising glass panels and/or nontransparent plate panels having mounted vertical and horizontal frame members (2), the modules (1) are only connected to the building structure by the fastening of two substantially opposite frame members (2) to vertical supporting elements (30, 54, 58) through a facade opening. In case of rectangular modules, vertical frame members (2) and fastening profiles (32, 32') in connection with said vertical supporting elements (30, 58) may be formed with engagement members for engagement with a mounting profile (33), which is partly formed for snap engagement with the frame members (2) and the fastening profiles (32, 32') for temporary fastening thereof in mutual engagement, which permits adjustment of the modular element (1), and which is partly provided with locking elements for fastening of the frame members (2) and the fastening profiles (32, 32') in secure mutual engagement.
Abstract:
For opening and closing a window or a door into and from a ventilation position a chain operating device is provided, having a first and a second fixture secured on the main frame and the frame, respectively. One fixture is firmly connected with one end of a chain (4) in engagement with a sprocket wheel mounted in the second fixture and which is driven by a rotating driving member. Said one connected fixture is designed as a two-parted coupling fixture comprising a first fixture part (1, 5) connected with the chain (4) and a second fixture part (17 to 19) connected with a frame or main frame structure. Said two fixture parts (1, 5; 17 to 19) have the form of elongated profiles that may be coupled together having individually at one end a stationary locking means (7, 22) and at the other end a releasable locking means (9, 23) so that the stationary locking means on one fixture part may be retained in releasable engagement with the releasable locking means on the second fixture part. Each of the releasable locking means (9, 23) can be switched over between two positions for releasing and retaining, respectively, the corresponding stationary locking means (22, 7).
Abstract:
For sealingly joining an underroof to a skylight or another roof installation a fitting collar is provided comprising a film element (7, 8) with a substantially U-shaped plane configuration with a cutout, at the sides of which there are flange parts (9, 10) for attachment of the fitting collar to mutually adjoined exterior sides (1-4) of the main frame structure of the window or the roof installation, in such manner that the film element is brought to extend substantially in parallel with the roof surface, in order to connect with adjacent parts (5, 6) of the underroof. The fitting collar can be manufactured in a simple manner, in that there in two overlapping lengths of film is produced transversal welds, at distances corresponding to a prescribed main frame width, whereby an obliquely extending part of each weld is formed with two parallel welded seams, while there in the edge zones at the opposite side edges of the lengths of film in extension of one and the other, respectively, of the two parallel welded seams are produced welded seams, which are perpendicular to the side edges. The collar elements are then separated by cutting along the cutting lines (22) between the parallel welded seams and parallel to the welded seams perpendicular to the side edges, and the collar is completed by cutting one length of film along the mid line between the welded seams with a subsequent bending upwards of the attachement flange parts.
Abstract:
A hinge device for pivot windows, especially windows installed in an inclined roof, the one part of which comprises a part circular guide channel for a corresponding longitudinally curved slide member (10) which consists of partly a core composed of metal sectors (22, 23, 24) riveted together and partly a frictional element (25) being in itself form stable and e.g. made of a plastic material. The body (28) of the element is without being deformed fixed in a gap (29) provided between two sectors (23, 24), said gap having a width being determined by necks (31) encircling the rivet holes in one of the sectors.
Abstract:
In a window to be installed in an inclined roof and having a top-hinged window sash (7) the side members (5) of the main frame do not only include ordinary, outwards facing abutment faces (6) but also inwards facing abutments (10, 11) against which the lateral edges of the sash may be retained after opening for airing. The top hinges (12) may be releasable with a view to allow for a downwards displacement of the sash to a position (7'') from which the sash may be further openable by swinging about an axis at its one side.
Abstract:
For the purpose of giving the user of an electric control of a Venetian blind (5) in a window (1) the possibility of adjusting the angular position of the slats independently of a raising or lowering of the Venetian blind by means of an electric motor (14) and spring clutches (11, 12) and corresponding lift cords (10), said control comprises a control circuit (19) with three position switch (21) controlled by the user, said control circuit being so arranged as to drive said motor (14) at low speed during a first predetermined time interval for adjusting slats angle and thereafter to drive said motor (14) at increased speed for the raising or lowering of said Venetian blind.
Abstract:
An openable window comprises a main frame (1) and a sash (3) top-hinged therein, in which sash is mounted a light screen, particularly a Venetian blind (4), with an adjusting mechanism (5), as well as with a screening device (7, 8) which may be an insect screen mounted in the main frame internally of the window sash. A turning handle (15) is mounted at the internal side of the screening device and is via a shaft (18) connected with the light screen adjusting mechanism in a rotationally locked manner, said shaft being articulated with the adjusting mechanism and telescopically connected with a pivotable member (14). The Venetian blind can thus be operated also with an insect screen placed internally of the window sash and with the window in an opened position for ventilation. The pivotable member can be designed as a ball joint journalled in a double conical bearing or as a ball with a through bore where the shaft is designed as a round bar being integrally with the turning handle.
Abstract:
In a window with a frame of extruded profile members a thermo pane is supported on the inside by a glazing bead connected with the frame profile member. The main frame mainly consists of wood profiles with weather-resisting coverings. A hinge pivot at the top of the window is formed by an edge portion (28) of an extruded profile member (27) connected to the main frame (20) and a hinge blade is formed by a hook-shaped wall portion (6) of the opposite frame profile member (1). To ensure engagement of said hinge pivot and hinge blade in the closed position of the window engaging means at one of the other sides of the window may comprise a sliding block (31) arranged displaceably in a track in a frame member between a fixed window position opposite a retaining device anchored in the main frame and an openable window position for connection to a motion transfer member guided in a recess in the main frame.
