The screening arrangement (7), in particular a Venetian blind, is intended for installation in a roof window (1) and comprises a screening length having a number of mutually connected elements as well as profile lists (10) to be mounted on each of the side members of the sash and each having a track (13) for receiving a means displaceable along the track, said means comprising a spring housing (15) and a slide shoe (16). The slide shoe (16) is provided with an abutment surface (20) for said elements (8) of the screening length during their gathering during raising of the screening arrangement. A bottom list (9) of the screening length facing the bottom member (4) of the frame is at each end connected with the displaceable means and loaded in the direction of the bottom member of the sash by a coil spring rotatably mounted in the spring housing (15), the uncoiled portion (18) of which extends in the track (13) in question from the displaceable means to a fixing point at the bottom member of the sash. The abutment surface (20) of the slide shoe (16) extends in the longitudinal direction of the track (13) to such an extent that it may receive a predetermined number of screening elements (8), and the spring housing (15) and the slide shoe (16) are displaceable relative to each other in view of reducing the extension of the abutment surface (20). The spring housing (15) may for instance be guided in a track (17) in the slide shoe (16).
Abstract:
The operating device comprises an input shaft (20) which by one end is connected with a driving means with a rotatable wheel (17) for receiving an endless cord (8), and which by the other end is coupled to an output shaft (14) which is connected in a rotationally locked manner with the screening arrangement. The input shaft (20) is connected with the output shaft (14) via a transmission shifting device, in particular a planet gear (21). Between the transmission shifting device and the output shaft, a mechanism is engaged for limitation of the transferred driving torque. This mechanism is constituted by a sliding clutch comprising a first coupling part (25) in connection with the transmission shifting device (21) and a second coupling part (26) in connection with the output shaft (14). The first coupling part (25) may comprise a toothed shaft (24) and the second coupling part (26) a slotted and toothed rim (27), or vice versa. Furthermore, a braking means is provided for retaining the screening arrangement in an arbitrary position.
Abstract:
A window screening device, e.g. a folding blind or a venetian blind, comprises a screening element (7) fastened between a top casing (8) and a slidable bottom beam (9) as well as parallel guidance means in the form of a cord arrangement with guidance cords (11, 12), which are routed through rows of openings (13, 18-19) in the screening element (7), the bottom beam (9), and a side guide strip (14) to one end of a sash bottom member (2) and from there back to the top casing (8). In the top casing each guidance cord (11, 12) is connected with one end of a tension spring (21, 22), the other end of which is fastened to a stationary point. Free ends of the two cords (11, 12) in each side of the top casing (8) are joined in a slidable (flowing) junction (25, 26), and in connection with each tension spring (21, 22) there is a stopping device (23, 24) in the top casing for limiting the travelling of the spring.
