Abstract: An apparatus and a method for forming a surface pattern on a powder cosmetic are provided to maintain decoration effect of a solid pattern by preventing the pattern formed through imprinting from being easily removed in use of a puff. An apparatus for forming a surface pattern on a powder cosmetic includes a main body(1), a conveyor belt(2), a frame(3), an actuator(4), a winding roller(6), a supply roller(7), brackets(8,8'), and a forming plate(10). The horizontal conveyor belt is installed on the upper surface of the main body. The frame is formed on the upper part of the main body and mounts the downward actuator. The forming plate is coupled to the lower end of a retractable shaft of the actuator and has a bottom surface imprinted with an imprinting pattern unit. The winding roller and the supply roller are formed on both sides of the frame apart from each other by the brackets fixed on the frame. A film roll(20) is inserted into the supply roller and a release film is wound around the film roll. The release film is wound on the winding roller through between the upper part of an inner dish transferred along the conveyor belt and the forming plate. A solid pattern is imprinted on a powder charge surface of the inner dish through the release film from the imprinting pattern unit of the forming plate descended by the actuator.

Abstract: A method for preparing a powder cosmetic formed by a combination of molded objects divided into various colors is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost and improve productivity by preparing the powders divided into the various colors by border lines inside of a single case, thereby being very economical and satisfying the consumer need by combining sizes and colors of the molded objects in accordance with taste, preference, and frequency of the consumer. A method for preparing a powder cosmetic formed by a combination of molded objects divided into various colors comprises the steps of: (a) after cutting a highly viscous wet powder supplied from an extruding device, filling it up with a base molding frame; (b) pressing the base molding frame filled up with the powder using a press device; (c) after taking the pressed powder out of the base molding frame, cutting the powder using a cutter into divided molded objects; (d) isolating the divided molded objects from the cutter; (e) facing sides of the isolated divided molded objects one another to insert them into an inside dish in accordance with volume and shape of the dish; and (f) pressurizing the upper portion of the inside dish using an upper frame press device. A powder cosmetic is characterized in that it is prepared by pressing at least two divided molded objects(2,2') corresponding to the internal volume and the plane shape of an inside dish(1), each of the divided molded objects has a color different from each other and sides of the divided molded objects are contacted by the surface to be inserted into the one inside dish, thereby the multi-colored molded objects being inserted into various division states with border lines(3,3').
