Abstract: PURPOSE: A patch formulation for preventing hair loss or promoting hair growth is provided to prevent scalp irritation and conveniently use the formulation. CONSTITUTION: A patch formulation for preventing hair loss or promoting hair growth contains 2,4-diamino-6-pyrrolidino-pyridine-3-oxide compound, 2,4,-diamino-6-piperidino-pyrimidine-3-oxide compound or natural plant material extract as an active ingredient. The patch formulation is a hydrogel sheet in which hydrogel is applied on a support. The patch formulation is attached boundary site between scalp and forehead. The natural plant material includes thujae Semen, sophorae Radix, ginseng, zingiberis Rhizoma crudus, swertia japonica, angelicae gigantis Radix, glycyrrhizae radix, capsicum tincture, paeoniae Radix, polygoni multiflori Radix, black soybean, black sesame, green tea, camellia japonica, rehmanniae Radix Preparata, mori Radicis Cortex, chrysanthemi sibirici Herba, cnidii Rhizoma, angelicae dahuricae Radix, nepetae Spica, carthami Flos, lithospermi radix, scutellariae Radix, and lycii Fructus.

Abstract: A composition for strengthening a hair root and improving a scalp, which contains herb extract is provided to relieve the irritation such as pruritus and pricking, prevent hair loss, and promote hair growth. A composition for strengthening a hair root and improving scalp comprises 0.001-10% by weight of Polygonum multiflorum, 0.001-10% by weight of green tea extract, 0.001-10% by weight of Panax ginseng and 0.001-10% by weight of Glycine max extract. The Polygonum multiflorum, green tea extract, Panax ginseng and Glycine max are stabilized using a nanoliposome. The Polygonum multiflorum, green tea extract, Panax ginseng and Glycine max is contained in 0.1-20.0% by weight based on total weight of nanoliposome. The Polygonum multiflorum extract is obtained by extracting a root of Polygonum multiflorum in 50% ethanol, removing the color and flavor of the extract and filtering using a filter paper. The green tea extract is obtained by dipping a leaf, stem, or flower of the green tea in 30% ethanol at 25°C for four days and filtering. The composition is used in a form of hair tonic, hair lotion, scalp treatment, hair treatment, hair rinse, hair shampoo, or hair lotion.
