Abstract: A hair cosmetic composition for blocking UV is provided to improve hair smoothness, provide fresh feeling of use and promote absorption feeling excellently by comprising dimethicone having a low molecular weight and at least one silicone for forming a film or forming a network structure in a dispersion together with a UV blocking agent. A hair cosmetic composition for blocking UV in a dispersion formulation comprises at least one effective ingredient selected from the group consisting of octyl methoxycinnamate, octyl salicylate, and isoamylparamethoxycinnamate. The composition further comprises at least one ingredient for improving feeling of use selected from the group consisting of disiloxane, cyclopentasiloxane/dimethicone crosspolymer and trimethylsiloxysilicate/cyclopentasiloxane. Further, the composition is in a form of hair serum, hair gel, hair wax, hair mousse, hair spray, hair essence, scalp treatment, hair treatment, hair rinse, hair shampoo and hair lotion.
