    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing ultra-fine ammonium perchlorate crystals by salting-out process at high productivity, with no need of separate additives such as a growth protecting agent. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing ultra-fine ammonium perchlorate crystals comprises the steps of: forming saturated ammonium perchlorate solution by using N-methylpyrrolidone as a solvent for dissolving ammonium perchlorate; adding a halogenated hydrocarbon solvent or an aromatic compound solvent having low solubility to ammonium perchlorate to the saturated ammonium perchlorate solution as a precipitating agent; and mixing them together to obtain ultra-fine ammonium perchlorate crystals having an average crystal size of 2 micrometers or less.
