    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a simple preparation method of phase stabilized ammonium nitrate potassium(PSAN) including potassium nitrate(KNO3) by salting out method, by adding organic solvent as a precipitant to a mixed solution of NH4NO3(AN) and KNO3(KN). CONSTITUTION: Phase stabilized ammonium nitrate potassium(PSAN) used as an oxidant in rocket propellants, bombs, and gas generators is prepared by dissolving NH4NO3 and KNO3 into water for a saturated solution, followed by adding an organic solvent as a precipitant, being mixable with water, which is one or more of ketones(acetone), nitriles(acetonitrile) or ethers(tetrahydrofuran or dioxane), where the amount of precipitant is 0.1-20times as much as the saturated solution. The resultant PSAN crystal contains 1-35wt.% of KNO3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: Ammonium nitrate is prepared using potassium dinitramide as a phase stabilizer which has a good smoke property and improves energy decrease. CONSTITUTION: Ammonium nitrate and potassium dinitramide are dissolved in a solvent such as water, dimethyl formamide and dimethyl sulfoxide together to give a saturated solution, followed by addition of a miscible solvent as a precipitating agent such as nitrile, ether, aromatic compound, halogenated hydrocarbon and their compound to recover the ammonium nitrate. Thus, 65.7 weight % of ammonium nitrate, 5.7 weight % of potassium dinitramide and 28.6 weight % of water are mixed to give a saturated aqueous solution, followed by addition of acetonitrile, and stirred for 1 hour to give the phase stabilized ammonium nitramide.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A producing device of an ammonium nitrate particle, and a producing method thereof are provided to produce a sphere shape of the ammonium nitrate particle by applying a flat nozzle as a spraying nozzle.
