Abstract: A generic spare tire clamp is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost of a clamp by having no necessity for manufacturing different clamps according to the size of a coupling hole. A generic spare tire clamp(1) includes a rear plate provided with a fastening nut having a fastening hole in the center and formed in a rear trunk of a vehicle, a coupling bolt formed on the lower part of a body portion(2) at the appointed height and in the appointed size to fix a spare tire to the rear plate, an operating unit(3) formed to be projected on the upper part of the body portion to facilitate rotation, and a joint provided with stepped portions(12) having different diameters and projected downward to fix the spare tire mounted to the rear plate on the lower part of the body portion which is in contact with the coupling bolt.
