Abstract:
PURPOSE: A ship having a BOG(Boil-Off Gas) re-liquefaction device using waste heat and an absorption type refrigerator is provided to reduce fuel consumption by using the exhaust gas produced in an engine as a heat source of a regenerator. CONSTITUTION: A ship comprises a liquefied gas tank(100) and a BOG re-liquefaction device. The BOG re-liquefaction device re-liquefies the BOG produced in the liquefied gas tank and comprises an absorption type refrigerator which transfers cold energy for re-liquefaction of BOG. The absorption type refrigerator includes a regenerator(10) which uses as heat source the waste heat produced in the ship.

PURPOSE: An electricity production apparatus and a method of a LNG carrier, which adopts a fuel battery for producing necessary electricity in a large vessel, is provided to continually supply fuel to a fuel cell during the traveling. CONSTITUTION: An electricity production apparatus comprises a LNG storage tank, a reformer(21), a fuel battery(23) and a steam supply line(L23). The reformer produces synthetic gas by reacting evaporative gas generating from the LNG storage tank. The fuel battery produces electricity by chemically making the synthetic gas react. The reformer produces the synthetic gas by making the evaporative gas react with steam. The reformer comprises steam reforming reaction.

An LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) supply assistance device with a backflow prevention valve is provided to prevent an LNG introduced inside of a main body from discharging due to the generation of a rapid sloshing. An LNG supply assistance device with a backflow prevention valve(150) includes a main body(100) and a submerged pump(200). A suction room(140) is prepared inside of the main body. The main body is divided into a top body(110) and a bottom body(120). The submerged pump is installed on a top of the suction room by an installing table(130) installed on a top portion of the main body and is connected to a pump tower. A suction hole(151) is formed long lengthwise at a top surface, a bottom surface, and an inside surface. A sealing member(152) is formed long lengthwise inside thereof to be inserted into the backflow prevention valve.
