Abstract: PURPOSE: A hands shape recognition based input control method is provided to perform input control and mode control by supplying control information based on bio-information. CONSTITUTION: Hands shape image information is converted into HSI(Hue, Saturation, and Intensity) color image information and HIS color space image information. The HSI color space image information is binarized. A candidate area image is detected by labeling a binarized image(d). The hand area image is detected through perpendicularity and horizontal range projection method about the candidate area.
