Abstract: 본 발명은 프린터 헤드 특히 압전 방식의 잉크젯 프린터 헤드의 진동주파수를 검출하여 프린터 헤드의 조립 결함 또는 크랙 등을 검수할 수 있는 프린터 헤드의 결함 검출 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 일면에 구동체가 형성되고, 상기 구동체의 진동에 의해 내부의 잉크가 토출되는 프린터 헤드의 결함 검출 장치에 있어서, 상기 구동체에 사전에 설정된 전압 레벨을 갖는 진동용 교류 전원을 제공하는 진동 조정부와, 상기 프린터 헤드의 일면을 기준하여 상기 구동체의 변위를 측정하는 측정부와, 상기 측정부에 의해 측정된 변위를 푸리에 변환(Fourier Transform)하고, 푸리에 변환된 주파수값에 의해 결정되는 품질 지수에 따라 결함을 판단하는 판단부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린터 헤드의 결함 검출 장치를 제공하는 것이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A defect detection apparatus and method for a printer head are provided to improve the inspection efficiency by determining defects based on the quality factor according to the oscillation frequency of the printer head. CONSTITUTION: A defect detection apparatus comprises an oscillation control unit(110), a displacement measuring unit(120), and a determining unit(130). The oscillation control unit provides AC power source of fixed voltage level for oscillation to a driver(B). The displacement measuring unit measures the displacement of the driver based on one side of a printer head(A). The determining unit performs Fourier transform of the displacement measured by the displacement measuring unit and determines defects according to the Fourier-transformed frequency value.
