Abstract: PURPOSE: An ink-jet head is provided to prevent crosstalk between the adjacent chambers and the failure of signal transmission due to an error in a dicing process. CONSTITUTION: An ink-jet head(300) comprises a body(350), a plurality of chambers(310), a plurality of actuators(318), a receiving groove(302), and a common electrode. The actuators are connected to one side of the body and supply pressure to the chambers, respectively. The receiving groove is formed on one side of the body. The common electrode is interposed between one side of the body and the actuators. A part of the common electrode is formed in the receiving groove to electrically connect the actuators.

Abstract: A selection method of a resonance cycle of an inkjet head is provided to suggest basis data for selecting proper driving waveform for each nozzle by measuring the resonance cycle of a chamber of the inkjet head experimentally. Abstract: A method and an apparatus for cleaning an inkjet head are provided to securely clean foreign substances and bubbles contained in a chamber of the inkjet head and thus to improve printing quality and maintenance. A method for cleaning an inkjet head includes the steps of driving a piezoelectric material to vibrate at a frequency corresponding to an ultrasonic wave(S1), and injecting a predetermined amount of ink into the inkjet head to discharge the ink through a nozzle(S2). The method further includes the step of driving the piezoelectric material to inspect whether an ink droplet is discharged through the nozzle. When the ink droplet is not discharged, the steps S1 and S2 are repeated.
