Abstract: PURPOSE: A tactile sensor which accurately senses the contact position and the size of the contact pressure are provided to embody a multi sensing function by simultaneously sensing several contact positions. CONSTITUTION: A tactile sensor comprises a circuit board(110), a plurality of unit electrode pads(120), and a pressure sensitive film(150). The circuit board comprises first, second and third circuit pattern. The first circuit pattern electrically connects the unit electrode pad snatch corresponding to the same column. The second circuit pattern electrically connects the unit electrode pad snatch corresponding to the same row. The unit electrode pad snatch which the third circuit pattern comes under among unit electrode pads arranged two dimension to the identical section.

Abstract: An apparatus for inspecting a substrate surface is provided to check a foreign material using a surface plasmon resonance phenomenon by pressurizing a jig to a prism side so that an air gap is between 0.5 and 1 micrometer. A light emitting unit(102) emits laser to a prism(106) to generate surface plasmon resonance on a surface of a substrate(10). A light receiver(104) measures the intensity of light of the laser passing through the prism. A jig(108) supports the substrate to face one side of the prism. A driving unit(110) pressurizes the jig to the prism side to control an air gap between one side of the prism and the substrate so that the air gap is between 0.5 and 1 micrometer. The light emitting unit includes a laser diode.

Abstract: A circuit for controlling the driving of an LED(Light Emitting Diode) is provided to more precisely compensate for characteristic change of the LED according to the change of surrounding temperature, by linearly controlling the brightness and color of the LED according to the change of surrounding temperature. A waveform generator(310) generates a saw-tooth wave for PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) control. A temperature sensor(320) senses voltage according to a variable resistance, wherein the variable resistance is linearly varied according to changes of surrounding temperature. A PWM controller(330) compares the saw-tooth wave from the wave generator with the sensed voltage from the temperature sensor, and generates PWM voltage having a duty determined by the compared result. A drive part drives LED backlight according to the PWM voltage from the PWM controller.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An optimum power control method using a center power is provided to extract different center powers according to environments and physical characteristics of a disk, and to perform an optimum power control, thereby obtaining an optimum write power having low errors and improving a recording capacity. CONSTITUTION: A PCA(Power Calibration Area) test area is divided into 15 blocks, and portions of blocks are written to firstly perform an optimum power control. A result of the first optimum power control is selected as a center power. A write power to be used as the second optimum power control is set within a certain range of plus/minus, based on the center power. The rest blocks of the 15 blocks are written to perform the second optimum power control. A result of the second optimum power control is set as an optimum write power.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for correcting track deviation of an optical disk is provided to accurately transfer a pickup assembly for reading data of a wanted position on the optical disk. CONSTITUTION: A focus servo is turned on in transferring a pickup assembly for following a disk to generate a signal while a tracking servo is turned off for following tracks on the disk(S11). If the disk rotates while the pickup is transferred, the rotating disk cross the tracks between an inner periphery and an outer periphery for generating a traverse signal due to a difference in intensity of light between the tracks and other parts(S12). The number of pulses of the traverse signal is counted after fixing the shape of the traverse signal(S13). The rotary frequency of the disk is measured and stored while the pickup assembly is being transferred to measure pitch(S14-S15). Track pitch of the rotating disk is calculated by using the number of pulses and a physical distance moving the pickup assembly(S16). A target track is calculated by using the calculated track pitch and seek operation is executed(S17).
