Abstract: PURPOSE: A paper transfer guide of a printer is provided to minimize a noise generated due to collision of the front end of paper and a guide face at a position where a paper transfer direction is quickly changed. CONSTITUTION: A paper transfer guide(100) of a printer includes a variable paper guide face(101), a rotating unit(103), a side paper guide face(102), and an elastic member(104). The variable paper guide face comes into contact with the front end of paper transferred at a high speed and is moved on a fixed paper guide face(115) by a paper transfer force to change a paper transfer direction. The rotating unit rotates the variable paper guide face. The side guide face connects the variable paper guide face to the rotating unit such that the variable paper guide face is rotated by the rotating unit. The elastic member returns the variable paper guide face to the initial position.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A paper feeder of an image forming apparatus is provided to stably move a paper picked up from the bottom of a paper cartridge toward a feeding roller. CONSTITUTION: A paper feeder of an image forming apparatus includes a pick-up shaft(33), a pick-up housing(31), a pick-up roller(32), a pick-up device, and a variable guide(100). The pick-up shaft is installed at a main body frame placed over the paper cartridge(20). The pick-up housing is connected with the pick-up shaft in such a manner that the housing rotates around the pick-up shaft so that the front end of the pick-up housing comes into contact with paper. The pick-up roller is set at the front end of the pick-up housing. The pick-up device is composed of a gear train that transmits rotary power to the pick-up roller. 본 고안은 원고를 이송시키는 급지롤러와, 다수매의 원고를 낱장으로 분리하는 분리고무판과, 상기 분리고무판을 일정한 압력으로 급지롤러에 밀착시키는 누름판과, 상기 원고면과 분리고문판 사이에 마찰력을 발생시키는 탄성수단과, 상기 분리고무판과 급지롤러 사이에 인입되는 원고의 량을 제한하기 위한 멈춤구조로 구성된 것이다.
[고안의 중요한 용도]
본 고안은 과다한 량의 원고 인입을 제한하는 역할을 수행하는데 있어 누름판 구조와는 별도로 구성된 멈춤구조를 탄성수단에 형성시키므로서 보다 안정적인 원고 낱장 공급 기능을 수행할 수 있으며, 또한 상기 멈춤구조가 누름판과는 별도의 구조로 탄성체 재질로 이루어져 직접 분리고무판을 일정한 압력으로 가압하기 때문에 과다한 량의 원고가 인입되더라도 상기 멈춤구조만 상부 방향으로 밀리면서 들어 올려지게 되고, 별도의 구조에 의한 탄성수단이 누름판에 가하는 압력은 항상 일정하게 유지할 수 있으므로 직접적으로 누름판이 들어 올려져서 과다한 량의 원고가 한꺼번에 분리고무판과 급지롤러 사이에 걸리는(잼 현상) 현상이 발생하지 않으며, 이로인해 팩시밀리의자동급지 이송 기능을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
