Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for establishing a WLAN communication connection and an electronic device for the same. The method for establishing a WLAN communication connection in a device includes receiving a probe request message from another device; and selectively transmitting a response signal in response to the probe request on the basis of at least one among information included in the received probe request message and internal information of the device. Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for transmitting and receiving data and an electronic device thereof. The method for transmitting and receiving data in an electronic device comprises the steps of detecting a communications event with another electronic device; transmitting, to another electronic device, information about an application being executed in the electronic device when the communications event is detected; receiving, from another electronic device, information about an application being executed in another electronic device; determining an application execution screen by comparing the application information from the electronic device with the application information received from another electronic device; and displaying the determined application execution screen.
