Abstract: PURPOSE: A flexible display device using a size of an exposed screen area and a UI(User Interface) display method using the same are provided to separately offer a UI by using a folding degree of the flexible display device. CONSTITUTION: An exposed area determination unit(110) determines the area of a screen exposed to the outside, and a UI generation unit(120) generates a UI corresponding to the area of exposed screen. A display unit(130) displays the generated UI to the exposed screen. The UI generation unit generates the UI based on the size of the exposed screen area. The UI generation unit converts the kind and number of objects included in the UI according to the size of the exposed screen area. Abstract: PURPOSE: A portable device having a touch screen display device and a controlling device thereof are provided to supply a user interface for a calendar application through dual touch screen display device. CONSTITUTION: A portable device displays a view mode selection area(1102) and one or more calendar areas(1102a). The portable device displays an event list(1104a) on a second touch screen. The portable device replaces specific information about a first event list in response to the sensing of a first touch gesture. The portable device displays a first menu window in a predetermined area in response to input of a first physical button.
