Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for managing image files are provided to easily search the information on a picture through link information of a picture file by including the link information of desirable contents in the picture file. CONSTITUTION: An imager(120) includes an image sensor, a CCD(Charge-Coupled Device), a CMOS(Complimentary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor), and the like. The imager also includes an analog-to-digital converter. The imager acquires an image signal from a captured image, converts it to a digital signal and transmits the digital signal to a controller(110). The controller performs image processing, such as noise elimination or color processing, on the digital signal. The processed image may be stored in a storage(150). Under the control of the controller, a display(130) displays an image of a subject captured by the imager in an imaging standby mode, and reads and display an image stored in the storage in a playback mode.

Abstract: A method for a portable device to offer an RSS(Rich Site Summary) service and a device therefor are provided to enable user to confirm information only on recently-updated contents through other devices that the user frequently uses, even though the user does not browse all of contents of a portable device.
