    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for managing image files are provided to easily search the information on a picture through link information of a picture file by including the link information of desirable contents in the picture file. CONSTITUTION: An imager(120) includes an image sensor, a CCD(Charge-Coupled Device), a CMOS(Complimentary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor), and the like. The imager also includes an analog-to-digital converter. The imager acquires an image signal from a captured image, converts it to a digital signal and transmits the digital signal to a controller(110). The controller performs image processing, such as noise elimination or color processing, on the digital signal. The processed image may be stored in a storage(150). Under the control of the controller, a display(130) displays an image of a subject captured by the imager in an imaging standby mode, and reads and display an image stored in the storage in a playback mode.

    Abstract: A method for a portable device to offer an RSS(Rich Site Summary) service and a device therefor are provided to enable user to confirm information only on recently-updated contents through other devices that the user frequently uses, even though the user does not browse all of contents of a portable device. When contents of a portable device are updated, RSS feeds for the updated contents are generated(210,220). The generated RSS feeds are authenticated(230). If authentication succeeds, the generated RSS feeds are transmitted to an RSS reader about the portable device(240, 250). The RSS feeds include at least one of a model name of the portable device, an IP address, information on a manufacturer, and meta data of the contents generated by the updating.     Abstract: An image tagging method and a video reproduction apparatus using the same are provided to tag and search a desired moving picture according to the preference and intention of a user from various and vast video contents. According to the kind of a video reproduction apparatus(100), a reproducing module(120) receives a video signal and converts it so that a display device(180) can reproduce it. The reproducing module converts/reproduces stored video files. A face recognition module(130) recognizes the face(185) of a character in a scene which is being reproduced by the reproducing module.
