Abstract: A panel assembly for a display device and a display device having the panel assembly are provided. The panel assembly for a display device includes a display region including a plurality of pixels and most of display signal lines connected to the pixels, a plurality of repair lines disposed in a shape of a ring in a peripheral region outside of the display region, and first to third auxiliary repair lines disposed in the peripheral region in parallel to data lines. An additional auxiliary repair line is provided at a right side of each of the data driving IC regions. By doing so, occurrence of disconnection and success in repairing the disconnected data lines of a display penal which is mounted in a COG scheme is tested by using a TCP type of test unit, so that it is possible to greatly reduce production costs involved in the COG type test unit.

Abstract: A touch screen display device is provided to form a sensor spacer having a stepped portion to increase an effective contact area between the sensor spacer and a sensor pad so as to improve an electrical characteristic and maintain a cell gap of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel all the time. A touch screen display device includes a first insulating substrate(10), sensor pads(84,85), a second insulating substrate(110), a sensor spacer(140), a common electrode(150), and a supporting spacer(145). The sensor pad is formed on the first insulating substrate. The second insulating substrate is opposite to the first insulating substrate. The sensor spacer is formed on a portion of the second insulating substrate, which corresponds to the sensor pads, at a distance from the sensor pads and has a stepped portion. The common electrode is formed on the sensor spacer. The supporting spacer is interposed between the first and second insulating substrates and maintains a cell gap.

Abstract: A polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display having the same are provided to decrease the total thickness of the polarizing plate by supporting at least one surface of the polarizing plate through one of a liquid crystal display panel, a wide view angle film, and a luminance improving film, and thus reducing support layers of the polarizing plate by one. Abstract: A display substrate and a display device having the same are provided to reduce the contact resistance at the contact portion, in which high voltage or high current flows, thereby preventing the erosion of a gate circuit part due to moisture.
