Abstract: PURPOSE: An image forming system capable of correcting vertical alignment and a correction method of the image forming system are provided to correct a feeding error value to obtain high printing quality. CONSTITUTION: An image forming system includes a calculation unit(31) and a controller(80). The calculation unit calculates a correction value of a feeding error value for each operation mode by using one of a plurality of alignment pattern setting values that have been set corresponding to the feeding error value. The controller controls the operation of a feeding roller(54) to correct the feeding error value for each operation mode according to the correction value calculated by the calculation unit. The image forming system further includes an input unit(70) for receiving the setting value corresponding to the feeding error value, and a detector(60) for detecting the feeding error value.

Abstract: It provides an overload detecting circuit to control maximum consumption of electric power, detecting overload correctly despite the occurrence of part fault and momentary peak current occurring while printing an image. Overload detecting circuit consists of induced voltage generating part(100A) connected to head driving part(HD) that generates an induced voltage responding to the head driving voltage level; overload time detecting part(100B) generating a voltage equivalent to head pin driving device responding to induced voltage generated from induced voltage generating part(100A); and output part(100C) producing an overload signal supplied by interrupt pin of central processing unit(CPU) in accordance with output signal of overload time. As overload detecting circuit(100) while not driving the output printer head(HD) has '0' volt voltage drop at both ends of the ferrite bead(FB), so base current of transistor(Q11) does not flow resulting in a non-continuity state between collector and emitter thus base current of transistor(Q12) does not flow either and the connection node(18) of transistor(Q12) collector is logically high, resulting in a continuity state between transistor(Q13) collector and emitter, eventually the logical state of connection node(22) to which transistor(Q13) collector is connected goes low showing a state of no CPU interrupt request. Once the printer begins printing, printer head controller delivers a control signal to the head driver and accordingly the head pin driving solenoids driven current increases. The ferrite bead generates an induced voltage between connection nodes (10) and (12) making base current of transistor(Q11) flow resulting in a continuity state between transistor(Q11) and emitter. As the resulting voltage is charged at condenser(C11) through resistance(R13) and the printing density of the printer becomes thicker the more the head pins are driven, the higher the frequency condenser(C11) voltage becomes; and when transistor(Q12) achieves continuity state, the voltage to connection node(18) to which transistor(Q12) collector is connected goes logically low. While connection node(18) is at low state, a non-continuity state between transistor(Q13) and emitter follows; then connection node(22) is charged by voltage(Vcc) level supplied from power ends(Vcc) emitting a high signal by system interrupt pin to CPU interrupt pin; then the CPU divides the printing image of one line increments into odd number pins and even ones and prints.
