A projecting map generating method using graphics hardware and a programmable shader, a system thereof and a recording medium in which the method is recorded are provided to generate a projecting map about a 2D image, a 3D image and video in real time, thereby finding a degree that a pixel is outstanding. Each image to which an original image reflects each feature is extracted from the original image by using a programmable shader in graphics hardware(S620). Each mipmap texture corresponding to the extracted each image is generated(S630). A center-surround difference operation is performed about each mipmap texture. Each contrast image corresponding to each extracted image is generated by using the programmable shader(S640). The contrasting images are linearly combined. A projecting map is generated by using the programmable shader(S650).

Disclosed are a system and a method for warning a forward head posture for preventing a herniated cervical disk. The system for warning the forward head posture includes: a posture determining device which measures the posture of a user by using an obtained image, determines a warning level based on the posture of the user and a preset reference posture, and provides the determined warning level; and a warning generating device which generates a warning corresponding to the warning level and supplies the warning level to the user. Therefore, according to the system and the method for warning the forward head posture, the user conveniently recognizes the forward head posture by additionally using a warning function in a portable external device in an environment using an information processing device. Forward head posture symptoms and the herniated cervical disk are effectively prevented by giving the warning about the posture to the user regardless of the location and kind of the information processing device.

PURPOSE: A shape modeling apparatus for a measured body and a method thereof are provided to easily find a surface point of a measured body before the measured body is transformed. CONSTITUTION: A shape modeling apparatus (100) for a measured body comprises a measuring unit (110), a storage unit (120), a detection unit (130), and a modeling unit (140). The measuring unit is contacted with the coordinate of a probe and the measured body, and measures the magnitude of force which is applied to the probe by lapse of time. The storage unit stores the coordinate of the probe and the magnitude of force which are measured by lapse of time. The detection unit detects a collision point of the probe and the measured body based on the coordinate of the probe in which the magnitude of force is discontinuously changes. The modeling unit models the shape of the measured body based on the collision point of the probe. PURPOSE: A vibration authoring tool, a vibration authoring method, and a storage medium recorded with the same are provided to store a product in an XML file format and support various vibration actuators to perform realistic music reproduction in real time. CONSTITUTION: A scale definer(20) defines a scale by adjusting the frequency, amplitude and waveform of vibration. A clef definer(30) matches each staff line of a sheet of music with some of frequencies, and a head number of each musical note with some of amplitudes. A score authoring unit(40) authors the sheet of music by inputting the symbol, and a reproducer(60) reproduces the authored sheet of music.

PURPOSE: A device and a method for providing haptic augmented reality are provided to add and subtract the reaction force which is augmented by a haptic device about a real repulsive power, thereby experiencing augmented haptic information. CONSTITUTION: A haptic augmented reality providing device(100) comprises a control unit(110) and a drive unit. The control unit calculates repulsive power of an object. The control unit determines a driving power considering the calculated repulsive power and preset solidity. The driving unit drives a haptic device by the determined driving force. The driving unit transfers a repulsive power strengthened by the control unit to a user not a repulsive power according to the collision with a real object.

A wireless game controller combining an infrared position tracker and an accelerometer, a game server and a user operation recognition method are provided to simultaneously perform motion tracking by accelerometer and position tracking by an infrared position tracker, thereby quickly recognizing various motions. An acceleration tracking unit(22) produces acceleration data. An infrared transmitting unit(24) transmits an infrared signal to an infrared camera mounted on a game server. A wireless communication unit(23) performs wireless telecommunication with the game server. A central processing unit(21) transmits the acceleration data produced by the acceleration tracking unit to a server through the wireless communication unit. The central processing unit processes the inputted signal.

An apparatus and a method for controlling an electronic device by using an inertial sensor and a camera are provided to filter motion information, measured by the inertial sensor, through motion information obtained by analysis of an image photographed by the camera, thereby achieving more accurate control even for slow motion. An image analyzing unit(12) extracts feature points of an image inputted from a camera(11), and calculates the amount of upper and lower rotation, the amount of left and right rotation and the amount of back and forth motion of the feature points. A filtering unit(14) removes or outputs motion data measured by an inertial sensor(13) according to the left and right rotation amount and back and forth motion amount extracted by the image analyzing unit. A motion data operating unit(15) operates motion data of 4 degrees of freedom by using 2 axial motion data of the inertial sensor transmitted through the filtering unit, the left and right rotation amount calculated by the image analyzing unit and the back and forth motion amount calculated by the image analyzing unit. A control unit(16) generates control information by using the motion data calculated by the motion data operating unit, and perform a control operation.
