Abstract: PURPOSE: A channel guide method for providing a broadcasting service and system thereof are provided to enable a user to receive desired program information by enabling the user to search programs or to automatically receive recommendation channel information. CONSTITUTION: A channel guide system classifies a contracted broadcasting service provider(700). In case a terminal requests the reception of information or performs login, the identification of the broadcasting service provider is started. The channel guide system classifies the broadcasting provider based on the personal information of a user. The channel guide system provides recommendation channels in which are related to the personal information of the user based on the classified broadcasting service provider(710).

Abstract translation: 目的：提供用于提供广播服务的频道引导方法及其系统，以使得用户能够通过使用户能够搜索节目或者自动接收推荐频道信息来接收期望的节目信息。 规定：频道指南系统对合约广播服务提供商进行分类（700）。 在终端请求接收信息或进行登录的情况下，开始广播服务提供者的识别。 频道指南系统根据用户的个人信息对广播提供商进行分类。 信道引导系统提供与基于分类广播服务提供商的用户个人信息有关的推荐信道（710）。
