PURPOSE: A method for providing contact information between a 3D cursor and a virtual object in a 3D virtual environment and an image providing device performing the same are provided to obtain information without a particular eye movement by supplying visual information to a location of an object close to the contact of the 3D cursor. CONSTITUTION: A progress direction of a 3D cursor is predicted, a contact candidate object is selected by considering the predicted progress direction(S11). A ratio of a remaining distance for the 3D cursor to contact the contact candidate object is calculated(S12). Sub devices surrounding a convergent center point of the contact candidate object are displayed. A ratio of a distances between the sub devices and the contact candidate object is variably displayed according to the remaining distance(S30). Abstract:
PURPOSE: A partitioned block encoding method for encoding a video is provided to perform prediction encoding of a block by using a sub block for inter-screen prediction. CONSTITUTION: An inputted screen(i) is partitioned to an encoding unit block(S103). An intra-screen prediction encoding is performed in case a current screen is not inter-screen prediction(S104,S105). A sequence of an encoding unit block is initialized in case the current screen is inter-screen prediction(S106). The encoding unit block is divided into lower blocks(S107). A block mode of lower block modes(k) is selected(S109). Intra and inter prediction encoding is performed in the lower block mode(S111,S112).
