PURPOSE: A method for producing thermophilic hydrogen using rice straw is provided to efficienctly dissolve hemicelluloses and to induce massive hydrogen production. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing thermophilic hydrogen using rice straw comprises: a step of producing hydrogen by adding strain using rice straw as a carbon source; a step of pretreating rive straw using a pretreatment solution at high temperature; a step of removing lignin from the pretreated rice straw; and a step of decomposing crystal structure of cellulose. The strain is thermophilic, Thermotoga neapolitana. A culture medium for thermophilic strain is TMB medium in which sodium chloride(NaCl) is removed.

PURPOSE: A culture system for biological hydrogen production having a membrane module for concentrating anaerobic microorganism is provided to minimize and prevent membrane contamination. CONSTITUTION: A culture system for biological hydrogen production having a membrane module for concentrating anaerobic microorganism comprises: an anaerobic fermentation bath(1) storing anaerobic bacteria for generating hydrogen; a substrate supply bath(2) for providing substrate in order for the anaerobic bacteria to generate hydrogen; a collection device(3) for hydrogen gas; a separating film module(4) for receiving and concentrating fermentation liquid of anaerobic bacteria with the membrane; a transmitted liquid collection bathe(5) for receiving the transmitted liquid and filtering; and a reverse process line(6) for washing pollutant of separating film.

A flat vertical parallelepiped-type photosynthetic bacteria incubator for biologically producing hydrogen is provided to make photosynthesis of microorganism actively by providing constant light to the inside thereof using a transparent rectangular parallelepiped of a culture tank, thereby increasing the production amount of the hydrogen. A flat vertical parallelepiped-type photosynthetic bacteria incubator for producing hydrogen comprises: a culture tank(20) where a transparent rectangular parallelepiped having a thickness of 3-12 cm is arranged in a vertical flat shape to disperse light evenly to inside of the incubator, thereby producing hydrogen by photosynthesis of the photosynthetic bacteria; a cover(30) opening and closing the upper portion of the culture tank and having a culture medium inlet(31); an exhaust pipe(40) which is inserted into the cover and moves the hydrogen produced from the inside of the culture tank to an outside storage tank; and an agitator(50) which agitates the culture medium including the photosynthetic bacteria of the culture tank to discharge contained hydrogen, wherein the culture tank is made of transparent acryl which is easy to handle and cheap and has light transparency.

A method for producing hydrogen gas by using a photosynthetic microorganism is provided to improve production yield of hydrogen under the high salt concentration condition. The hydrogen gas is produced by culturing the photosynthetic microorganism in a medium in the presence of 3% NaCl through photosynthesis, wherein the photosynthetic microorganism is Rhodobacter sphaeroides KD131(KCTC 12085); the medium contains D, L or DL type of organic acid as a carbon source; the organic acid is malate, acetate, lactate or butyrate; and the cultivation is performed under the lighting of 7-10 klux.
