    Abstract: The present invention relates to a membrane electrode assembly including a polymer binder and an alkaline membrane fuel cell comprising the same and, in particular, to a membrane electrode assembly including a cathode catalyst layer, an anode catalyst layer, and a pore-filling membrane placed between the cathode catalyst layer and the anode catalyst layer, wherein the catalyst layers include a polymer binder of the same material with the substrate of the pore-filling membrane; and an alkali membrane fuel cell comprising the same. The membrane electrode assembly and the alkali membrane fuel cell comprising the same according to the present invention can effectively solve problems such as inferior durability, a combination problem of an electrolyte membrane and an electrode layer, a mechanical strength problem, and difficult application of a process for continuous production which are often found in alkali fuel cells developed to solve the problems of conventional polymer fuel cells.
