Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method thereof are provided to predict the arcing contact lifetime of the vacuum circuit breaker by measuring a compressive force using a load cell or a strain gage. CONSTITUTION: A contact pressure spring(160) provides a predetermined compressive force to an arcing contact installed within a vacuum valve. A load cell or a strain gage is connected to a part of the contact pressure spring and senses the compressive force. A measuring device(170) predicts the lifetime of the arcing contact according to the detected compressive force. The load cell is serially connected to the contact pressure spring to the direction of a manipulator link corresponding to the direction of the vacuum valve link. The strain gage is directly attached to a part of the contact pressure spring to the manipulator link direction corresponding to the vacuum valve link direction.

Abstract: Earthing equipment is provided to discharge static electricity accumulated to the ground and to remove it in real time mode by forming a direct conductive path from the body to the ground. Earthing equipment(300) installed at the sole of a shoe comprises a body(410), a projection(420), at least one barb(430), and a needle portion(440). The body is extended in a vertical direction. The projection is formed in a circular structure at the top of the body that comes in contact with a user's body such that a minimal amount of static electricity is accumulated at the soles of feet and shocks. The barbs are formed at the lateral face of the body at regular intervals of 5mm, and prevent the progress of static electricity in a reverse direction.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Arc extinction structures for a circuit breaker and an electric switch having arc-magnetic operating mode is provided to reduce the load on an operator by simplifying the extinguishing part and downsize the product. CONSTITUTION: Arc extinction structures comprise a fixed member(110), a movable member(120) and an insulating cover(130). The fixed member(110) comprises flat plates(111,112) with a fixed main contact(111c) and a fixed arc contact(112c), respectively, and a pair of hook-shaped inserting parts(113a,113b). The movable member(120) is adjacent to the fixed member(110) for the hinge-like switch operation between the hook-shaped inserting parts(113a,113b), and has a movable main contact and a movable arc contact which contact with the fixed main contact(111c) and the fixed arc contact(112c), respectively. The insulating cover prevents an electric current caused by a contact between the fixed member and the movable member.
