Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical transceiver module is provided to syntagmatically control the power of circuit devices located on a lane by applying a multiple lane method to the optical transceiver module. CONSTITUTION: A first switching apparatus(230) controls each power source of transceivers. A plurality of reception units(250) receives optical signals in a lane. The plurality of the reception units converts the received optical signal into an electric signal. The plurality of the reception units outputs the converted electric signals. A second switching apparatus(270) controls power supplied to each reception unit. Abstract: PURPOSE: A multiplexing/demultiplexing apparatus and method of a multi-wavelength optical signal are provided to locate a film filter in each location reflected in zigzags on a zigzag optical path. CONSTITUTION: If an optical signal is received from a light source, a plurality of film filters(121~124) transmits the optical signal of a set wavelength according to each film filter. A mirror part(110) reflects the optical signal of a multi-wavelength optical signal which is received through a zigzag optical path. The multi-wavelength optical signal is composed in a collimating form. A focusing lens(112) optically couples the reflected optical signal to an external optical transmission channel.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for generating an optical RZ signal are provided to configure a partial component block with a single electronic IC unit, thereby miniaturizing the entire optical transmission system and to reduce the distortion of a signal according to the non-linear characteristic of an optical fiber. An apparatus for generating an optical RZ(Return-to-Zero) signal comprises an electronic IC(Integrated Circuit) unit(230), a driving/amplifying unit(240), a light source(250), and a modulation unit(260). The electronic IC unit generates an electric RZ signal based on an input data signal and a clock signal. The driving/amplifying unit amplifies the RZ signal. The light source outputs a carrier wave having predetermined wavelength components. The modulation unit modulates the carrier wave according to the amplified RZ signal. The electronic IC unit comprises a signal mixing unit(200), a signal adjustment unit(210), and an electric wave rectification unit(220). The signal mixing unit mixes the input data signal and the clock signal electrically. The signal adjustment unit amplifies the output signal of the signal mixing unit. The electric wave rectification unit reverses a signal section having the voltage value of sound so as for the output signal of the signal adjustment unit to have a single polarity.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for transmission capacity extension in an optical transport network are provided to receive various dependent network signals independently operated in the transmission of an audio, a video, and data and transmit the audio, the video, and the data to an integrated OTN(Optical Transport Network), thereby constructing the OTN for high capacity and high-speed signal transmission. The dependent signal mapping unit maps various dependent signals to OPUk-Xv(Optical channel Payload Unit k-Xv).
