PURPOSE: A psychotherapy apparatus based on a portable terminal is provided to offer appropriate information for psychotherapy by grasping the psychology state of a user by analyzing the behavior pattern information and life cycle of the user. CONSTITUTION: A behavior information processing unit(30) stores the collected information by collecting the behavior information of a user who uses a portable terminal. A psychotherapy information processing unit(40) outputs psychotherapy information transmitted from a psychotherapy server(10). An information transmission and reception unit(20) transmits the behavior information to the psychotherapy server. The information transmission and reception unit inputs the psychotherapy information to the psychotherapy information processing unit.

PURPOSE: An object tracing method and an apparatus thereof are provided to trace an object through a code book of an object and to stably trace the object in various environments. CONSTITUTION: A modeling unit updates a pixel within a tracing target object area to a codeword. The modeling unit removes a pixel of low frequency from the codeword. A probability map generating unit generates a probability map through the codeword from which the pixel is removed. A tracing unit(105) traces the tracing target object through the generated probability map.

PURPOSE: A method for measuring environmental parameters for multi-modal fusion is provided to simply determines the input of new recognition data or the discharge of inputted and recognized data if the input data is not so good. CONSTITUTION: An environment variable measurement device transforms the input image to gray images first if input images for face recognition exists(S110,S120). The device obtains a video related environmental variable about the input image(S130). If an input voice for speaker identification exists, the device obtains a voice related environmental variable about the input voice(S140,S150). If a bright rate, a noise rate, or both is same or smaller than a reference value, the device transmits corresponding input data to a face recognition unit or a speaker identification unit(S160,S180).

PURPOSE: A device for providing an advertisement content and a method thereof are provided to offer a customized advertisement content by exactly extracting user information through a behavioral pattern of the user. CONSTITUTION: An image processor(102) extracts object from a photographed image. A long distance recognizer(104) creates long distance identifying information which analyzes the object from a first distance. A short distance recognizer(103) creates short distance information which analyzes the object from a second distance which is near than the first distance. A content selector(105) selects an advertisement content using the long distance identifying information and the short distance identifying information.

PURPOSE: A disguised face discriminating apparatus and method thereof which uses a linear discriminating technique are provided to permit to use a system only for a user whose face is opened by a determining normal face and a disguised face. CONSTITUTION: A first disguise processor(110) receives a face image including left side/right side face images. A second disguise processor(130) receives the face image including left side/right side face images and to performs second disguise process according to a linear technique. A final linear determining unit(140) receives the result value of the first and the second disguise processor. The final linear return value is outputted according to the linear technique. A comparator(150) compares a face image with a final linear return value.

PURPOSE: A vision-based age classification and estimation method is provided to supply a customized service to a user based on an estimated age. CONSTITUTION: A face is detected from an input image(S110), and eyes are detected from the detected face(S120). Based on the positions of eyes, the input image is adjusted(S130). A feature vector is extracted from the adjusted input image(S140), and an age is classified by using the feature vector having a reduced dimension(S160).

A local lighting operation unit(210) reads the entire region lighting operation value by the entire local lighting operation value loader command. The local lighting operation unit outputs the final pixel value through the shading of the entire local lighting operation value about the pixel value of the first object. PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for displaying search data are provided to display interest data by selecting an identifier corresponding to the interest data. CONSTITUTION: If one is selected between the data displayed on a display unit(310), a controller(330) creates an identifier representing the selected data to indicate in the display unit. The controller maintains the identifier while other data is marked in the screen. If the identifier maintaining in the screen is selected, the controller indicates data corresponding to the selected identifier in the screen. When the data is displayed on the screen, the controller indicates the identifier in the display, and maintains the identifier while other data is marked in the display.

Abstract:
A ray tracking device based on a pixel unit processing element and a method thereof are provided to prevent a CPU from calculating rendering, thereby reducing a burden of the CPU, consequently a rending-only hardware structure can be accomplished. An internal shared memory(205) inputs image data for performing rendering, and stores the inputted image data. A PPE(Pixel Processing Element) processor(202) performs ray tracking functions in parallel for each pixel with regard to the image data. A shading processor(204) accumulatively calculates color values of each pixel generated according to the ray tracking results, and determines final color values for each pixel. A hierarchical cache stores image data having high frequency of use from the image data, and provides the stored image data to the PPE processor.
