An apparatus for controlling the load of mail delivery and a method thereof are provided to adjust the number of postmen flexibly according to each day of the week. The delivery expectation quantity of a distributing post office is calculated from mail-quantity information of the distributing post office(S204). The preliminary load amounts of each postal district are calculated based on the delivery expectation quantity(S206). The postmen of each postal district are controlled based on the preliminary load amounts(S210). The delivery work load amounts of each postal district are calculated based on the number of postmen within each postal district(S214). Until the delivery work load of each postal district is equalized, the number of postmen within each postal district is controlled(S216).
Abstract:
A system and a method for controlling a postal logistics flow in real-time are provided to secure transparency and reliability for postal service quality by making a postal matter handling plan from reception to delivery, adjusting work load of postal matter handling centers effectively, and delivering postal matters efficiently through a postal matter handling process. A temporary reception system(300) receives mass postal matters from a mass postal matter production system(100) and generates temporary reception quantity information including delivery/quantity information of the received mass postal matters. A real-time postal logistics planning/controlling system(400) determines a delivery truck schedule by collecting working quantities planned as the temporary reception quantity information of each logistics center, and comparing the collected working quantity with truck operation reference among the logistics centers, and assigns a temporary truck route when the quantity transferred among the logistics centers is exceeded. A real-time operation planning/executing system(500) makes a working plan of the logistics center by transferring the working quantity of each logistics center and working procedure based on the temporary reception quantity, and compares/processes the working plan.

A focus area detecting section(102) detects a focus area by processing an image taken by the image taking section(100). A minimum circumscribed rectangular pattern detecting section(104) detects a minimum circumscribed rectangular pattern of an object. A height information detecting section(106) detects height of the object. A dimension calculating section(108) calculates dimensions of the object based on height information of the height information detecting section(106) and the minimum circumscribed rectangular pattern detected by the minimum circumscribed rectangular pattern detecting section(104).

PURPOSE: A perfect HANGUL 4 state bar code print system, read system and the control system are provided so that a method expressing the perfect HANGUL character by expanding the established codeset capable of being recorded in the bar code can be expressed by 6 bars. CONSTITUTION: Information to print 4 state 3 bar code by a bar code application or an optical character acknowledgement system is inputted(302). Inputted information is processed into a bar code structure and the value of bar code characters is calculated(303). If it is a process available data character(304), it is generated into the value of 4 state RS bar code reference table for a postcode of 6 digits and delivery classification code information(305). The value of a check character is calculated by the values of the generated character(306). Making reference to 4 state 3 bar code character image to print bar code characters, client information, the check character and a stop bar, including a start bar, a bar code information classification code, the postcode, the delivery classification code and HANGUL character information are assembled(307).

CONSTITUTION: A bar code letter reader(101) reads bar code letters printed on postal matters in sequence. An error detection and bar code letter calculator(102) detects information deciphered by the bar code letter reader(101) and calculates a value indicated by the relevant bar code letter. A read data memory(103) stores normal bar code letter value detected from the error detection and bar code letter calculator(102). An error detection processor(104) calculates the location and quantity of error letters. A read data calculator(105) generates a read data pattern if the bar code letter is the value of a post code. An error correction processor(106) generates and outputs error correction information. A read result processor(107) outputs the read data stored in the read data memory(103). A post code loader, an error pattern generator(109) and an error pattern memory(110) are comprised to generate the value of an error correction pattern.

PURPOSE: A multipoint communication system is provided to manage a multicast path by multicast path arranging information, and to use an error controlling/multicast path arranging method. CONSTITUTION: A user application(11) requests information for supporting multicast messages. Multicast path information transmitters of a resource manager(17) and a multicast path generator(14) transmit the same information to nodes, according to a multicast path. A network application interface(12) assists a multipoint communication service to be used in the user application(11). A multicast path information manager(19) manages information for controlling an error of a multicast path. A multicast path information collector(21) recognizes an error of a node connected by arranging/setting up the multicast path. A multicast path error controller(18) receives the multicast path error information to retrieve the multicast path information manager(19), and selects a node for recovering, then requests a connection setup with the selected node. A multicast path information transmitter/connection setup block(22) requests the connection setup with the selected node, and informs a network session management controller(16) of a connection. If the connection setup is completed, the multicast path generator(14) makes recovered multicast path information reciprocally exchanged.

CONSTITUTION: The print system includes a bar code character generator for generating the value of the bar code character correspond to input data by referring to a four-phase four-bar code reference table after inputting data, a four-phase four-bar code recorder for outputting the four-phase four-bar code reference table, a check character generator for outputting the read data, after adding control character and check character to the bar code character correspond to the generated data, a bar code image saver for saving an image of corresponding bar code character to print the bar code character, check character and control character corresponding to the data and for outputting image according to an output requiring signal, and a bar code printer for printing the bar code generating results.
