Abstract:
A method for managing and controlling bearer in an IP-based mobile radio communications network in order to heighten the efficiency of the signal protocol are provided to manage bearer regardless of the separation or the integration of the physical node. A mobile node context setup request message including a mobile node ID is received(602). A mobile node context table including the bearer information is generated by using the mobile node ID. The mobile node generates basic information for generating the IP address(604). The mobile node context setup response message in which the basic information is included is transmitted to the portability management entities. The context of the mobile node is set up.

Abstract:
A contents packet delivery control system in a mobile communication network for supporting an MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service) and a method therefor are provided to enable a BM-SC(Broadcast-Multicast Service Center) for controlling the MBMS to intercept unnecessarily distributed traffic packets in an early state of packet generation, by being connected with an internal CP(Contents Provider) or an external CP, thereby stably maintaining a network state. A BM-SC(400) controls and manages an MBMS in order to transmit MBMS contents by broadcasting/multicasting the MBMS contents to plural UEs(User Equipments) through distributed trees of each lower node, by interworking with GGSNs(Gateway GPRS Support Nodes)(320). A CP/MB(Multicast Broadcast) source server provides contents of an external CP connected to the Internet(600) and contents of an internal CP according to broadcast scheduling time preset for each MBMS.
