Abstract:
본 발명은 RADIUS 또는 다이아미터와 같은 서로 다른 인증 프로토콜을 사용하는 무선랜망 또는 휴대 인터넷망간이 적절하게 인증 처리를 수행하는 방법 및 이 방법을 수행할 수 있는 라우터를 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 인증 처리 방법은, 방문망에 접속된 사용자의 이동단말로부터 인증을 요청하는 인증요청메시지를 수신하여 인증요청메시지의 유형이 핵심망에서 정의된 메시지의 유형과 동일한지 여부를 판단한다. 그 판단 결과, 동일하지 않는 경우, 인증요청메시지를 핵심망에서 처리될 수 있는 메시지로 변환하고, 이 변환된 메시지를 핵심망 내의 인증서버로 라우팅하고, 동일한 경우, 인증요청메시지를 기초로 사용자의 네트워크접근식별자를 분석하여 이동단말의 홈망을 확인하고 이 홈망의 인증서버가 수신할 수 있는 인증처리메시지를 생성하고, 인증처리메시지가 홈망의 인증서버로 전송되도록 라우팅한다.

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a power saving mode of a mobile communication system is provided to lengthen a paging cycle according to a battery remaining amount or by a user, thereby lengthening a local update cycle. CONSTITUTION: A location managing server generates a new current paging cycle value based on received power saving mode information(S40). A mobile communication terminal receives the current paging cycle value through a base station and an MME(Mobility Management Entity)(S42,S44). The mobile communication terminal resets a paging cycle and a location update cycle which are set before(S46). The mobile communication terminal reduces power.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and multiple radio resource management server which supports adaptive heterogeneous network handover are provided to report state information to a wireless interface and to support adaptive heterogeneous network handover. CONSTITUTION: A wireless resource management unit(306) collects wireless communication network information. A server control unit(304) determines a wireless interface from a mobile terminal through the combination of wireless interface state information. The server control unit handovers the mobile terminal through a determined wireless interface.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A handover apparatus between heterogeneous networks and a method thereof for supplying a seamless service by reducing data loss are provided to reduce handover time delays by selecting an optimal mobile network based on information collected from a system. CONSTITUTION: A previous register(110) compares a SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) of a first network with a first threshold value. If a first relational condition is satisfied, the previous register performs a previous registration procedure to a target network. A handover performer(120) compares the signal-noise ratio with a second critical value. If the second relational condition is satisfied, the handover performer performs a handover procedure to the target network.

PURPOSE: A handover method in a mobile network and a mobile network system thereof are provided to obtain network information which is near a mobile terminal and accessible from the mobile terminal in consideration of the moving time and moving speed of mobile terminal, thereby performing effective and rapid heterogeneous handover. CONSTITUTION: A system measures moving time of mobile terminal(S410). The system measures the moving speed of the mobile terminal(S430). The mobile terminal request accessible neighboring network information to network access information server(S490). The network connection information server transmits the network information which is available for neighboring of the mobile terminal through location information of the mobile terminal to the mobile terminal(S530). The mobile terminal selects network corresponding to the moving speed(S540).
Abstract:
A method and a system for authenticating an IMS(Internet Multimedia System) in a mobile Internet are provided to decrease a signaling overhead in wireless/wire sections by using a master session key for authenticating the IMS. A system for authenticating an IMS in a mobile Internet includes a base station(120), a control station(130), and a CSCF(170). The base station wirelessly communicates a basic connection authentication related message and an IMS authentication related message with a mobile terminal. The control station is connected to the base station to communicate the basic connection authentication related message and the IMS authentication related message with the base station and provides IMS-MSK field values for users of plural mobile terminals. The IMS-MSK(Master Session Key) field value is an MSK field value generated during a basic connection authentication process for using a mobile Internet service in the mobile terminal. The CSCF(Call State Control Function) is connected to the control station, communicates the IMS authentication related message with the control station, and processes an IMS authentication of the mobile terminal requesting the IMS service by using the IMS-MSK field value.

A method for processing user authentication for a roaming service between the mobile Internet and the 3G(Generation) network, and a router thereof are provided to enable a mobile Internet user terminal to use a wireless Internet service of a wider range than a case roamed to the 3G network and enable a user to use a high quality wireless Internet service if a 3G user terminal is roamed to the mobile Internet. The router(300) of the second network includes the first receiver(302) receiving a message for requesting the user authentication from a mobile terminal, a subscribed network determiner(304) checking the subscribed network of the mobile terminal by analyzing a network access ID included in the received message, and the first transmitter(306) requesting the user authentication to the first network in the case of the first network. The router(400) of the first network includes the second receiver(402) receiving the message for requesting the user authentication from the second network, a user checker(404), the second transmitter transferring a user authentication starting message to the second network in the case of the legal user(405), and an authentication function performer(408).
