PURPOSE: A method for controlling a power saving mode of a mobile communication system is provided to lengthen a paging cycle according to a battery remaining amount or by a user, thereby lengthening a local update cycle. CONSTITUTION: A location managing server generates a new current paging cycle value based on received power saving mode information(S40). A mobile communication terminal receives the current paging cycle value through a base station and an MME(Mobility Management Entity)(S42,S44). The mobile communication terminal resets a paging cycle and a location update cycle which are set before(S46). The mobile communication terminal reduces power.

PURPOSE: A multi-dimensional layer transmission and reception apparatus and a method thereof are provided to transmit stream data and to receive multi-dimensional data in consideration of receiving signal strength, terminal performance, and power mode. CONSTITUTION: A data generating unit generates multi-dimensional data. First to Nth stream generating units(120,130,140) map the multi-dimensional data to a complex plane. The first to Nth stream generating units convert the multi-dimensional data into stream data. A multi-dimensional transmitting unit(150) transmits the stream data to each dimension which is divided into time and space. The multi-dimensional data includes two-dimensional view data.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for restoring bust data are provided to restore data loss using a block code symbol which is overlapped. CONSTITUTION: A priority sorter(210) indicates time information in a data stream(250). The priority sorter sorts the data stream according to significance into a low-priority buffer and a high-priority buffer and stores. A FEC(Forward Error Correction) encoder(240) draws out the data of a first time slot and constitutes a forward error correction source block. The FEC encoder executes coding calculation for creating FEC parity data. The data stream comprises an I frame, a B frame, and a P frame.

PURPOSE: A radio access scheduling device for reducing channel zapping and a method thereof are provided to receive the summary information on all current channels in order to reduce the channel zapping by providing summary information in advance when requesting a channel switching operation. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal receives summary information on all receivable channels in every channel scheduling period(110). The summary information is provided through an independent channel after a scheduling block, or is included in the scheduling block. If there is a channel switching request of a user, the user terminal provides the summary information of a change-requested channel during a channel zapping delay time(120).

PURPOSE: An apparatus for a home radio station and a control method thereof are provided to supply the data received in a mobile station to an image processing device. CONSTITUTION: A packet processing unit(105) receives data from a mobile communication network, and transmits the received data to a mobile terminal. An image processing unit(102) mixes the received data with the image data received from the outside. The image processing unit transmits the mixed data to the image processing device connected to a base station device. A data storage unit(107) stores the data received to the packet processing unit and the image data.

A wireless LAN(Local Area Network) for supporting mobility of a terminal and a data transceiving method between terminals in the wireless LAN are provided to form a backbone network configured in mesh type by using a static path tree of multipoint-to-point structure, thereby flexibly configuring a network in case of an increase of terminals and traffic. The first Ethernet switch(310) has an MAC(Medium Access Control) address replacement function. APs(Access Points)(325,330,335) carry out wireless communication with terminals(340,345). The second Ethernet switches set the first Ethernet switch to a route node as setting the APs to leaf nodes, and mutually connect the route node with the leaf nodes by a static path tree of multipoint-to-point tree type. The route node replaces destination MAC and source MAC addresses of the first Ethernet data frame by using an MAC address replacement table(305), and sends the address-replaced first Ethernet data frame through a downlink path for a destination terminal.

An apparatus and a method of providing internet broadcasting service by using multicast address learning bridge are provided to change the channel of subscribers in real time by rapidly performing a channel change requested by the subscribers. A method of providing internet broadcasting service by using multicast address learning bridge includes the steps of: generating an Ethernet channel address of predetermined multicast type corresponding to a broadcasting channel which is requested; receiving a channel request frame of which a source address is the Ethernet channel address and a destination address is a broadcasting server address which provides a broadcasting data stream; extracting the source address and the destination address from the channel request frame; confirming the extract source address whether to contain in a selected address entry; confirming whether a port includes in an allowed port entry or not; and confirming whether the extracted source address includes in the multicast forwarding address entry or not.
