PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing a policy based service are provided to efficiently describe the policy for RFID service and to flexibly apply the described policy to an RFID service providing system. CONSTITUTION: A policy rule converter(410) converts a user level policy rule sentence created by policy vocabularies into executable format, and an event declaration of the policy rule sentence into a format executable in a middleware system. A policy rule performance unit(420) distributes the converted event declaration to the middleware system. In addition, the policy rule performance unit compares the refined event data received from the middleware system with the policy condition of the policy rule sentence in order to determine the driving of an application system that performs the policy performance.

Provided is a real-time business process triggering system (RBPTS) using a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and a method thereof. The RBPTS is to provides interface to a corporation information system by generating an RFID event proper to a specific domain by giving the RFID data a business meaning to apply the RFID data to a predetermined rule before transmitting the RFID data to the corporation information system, provide a rule modeling function to flexibly managing changes in application field and environment, and provide an RFID related-action related to rule performance, and a method thereof. The RBPTS includes: an RFID middleware adapter for receiving RFID data from an RFID middleware/RFID reader and generating RFID events Extensible Markup Language (XML) document; an event manager for receiving the RFID events XML document from the RFID middleware adapter and generating an event query for inference; a rule manager for generating a result set by performing rule inference on the event query through an inference engine and generating an action list; Web Service arbitrator for communicating through Web Service using an external application and a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP); an action manager for performing real-time action by calling the Web Service through the Web Service arbitrator based on the action list; and an event repository for storing and managing registered all RFID event information, rule and action. The RBPTS is applied to maritime freight transportation.

The embodiments of the present invention relate to a product information processing method capable of processing a product with an RFID tag by selecting only the RFID tag value which a user requires by using the image information and an RFID reader.

SNMP 명령어 및 RM/RP 명령어를 병행하여 이용하는 RFID 리더에 대한 서버(Server)의 운용 방법 및 장치, RFID 리더(Reader)의 운용 방법을 제공한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 RFID 리더에 대한 서버의 운용 방법은 관리 대상인 RFID 리더의 객체(Object)와 OID(Object Identifier) 간의 매핑 테이블을 생성하는 단계, RFID 리더의 객체에 대하여 SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) 명령어를 이용하여 조회 및 설정하는 단계 및 RFID 리더의 객체에 대하여 RM/RP(Reader Management/Reader Protocol) 명령어를 이용하여 조회 및 설정하는 단계를 포함하여 구성될 수 있다. 따라서, RM/RP가 제공할 수 없었던, 다수의 변수 값에 대한 접근 방법을 제공하고, SNMP가 제공할 수 없었던, 하나의 메시지로 레코드 열의 인덱스를 검색하고 레코드 열의 추가 및 삭제하는 방법을 제공할 수 있었다. 또한, 장치를 관리함에 있어 반드시 필요한 장치와 서버간의 메시지의 수를 현저히 감소시키는 장점을 얻을 수 있다.

PURPOSE: An RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) based distribution storage management apparatus is provided to reduce the quantity of distribution which is returned and discarded by effectively carrying and shipping articles in a warehouse. CONSTITUTION: A distribution control server(20) writes distribution route information, article information, and item information on an electronic record. The distribution control server manages the arrangement and shipping of the articles according to the item information. An article management unit(30) arranges and ships the articles inputted and outputted from a warehouse according to the item information. An authentication server(10) authenticates electronic signatures.

PURPOSE: Apparatus for controlling power of sensor nodes based on estimation of power acquisition and method thereof are provided to control power of a sensor node with multiple stages according to the power providing condition by analyzing the power consumption of each composition element. CONSTITUTION: A self power acquisition unit(1) obtains self power. The inner sensor(21) senses obtained power from the self power acquisition unit and power consumption. A power blocking unit(3) blocks power of each component of a sensor node. The microprocessor(4) analyzes a power supply and demand situation, estimates obtained power, controls power of each component of a sensor node, and controls communication periods and sensing period of the sensor node.

If an RFID event administration policy request is received from the client, a policy determiner(130) selects the stored RFID event management policy using a profile of the client which is included the RFID event management policy request.

An integrated management server(200) integrates the unmanned bicycle management office in a type code system including an identification code of registered bicycles. A wireless communication terminal having an object information collection function using RFIDs(Radio Frequency IDentifications) and a method thereof, and a mobile RFID applied system and a method thereof are provided to more easily acquire object information in real life by mounting a mobile RFID module in a wireless communication terminal. If the user of a wireless communication terminal inputs an object information query request through an interface part(310), a mobile RFID application part, driven according to the object information query request, defines a rule for filtering raw tag lists, collected by an RFID middle ware. Then, the mobile application part forwards the defined filtering rule to an RFID WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability) platform together with an activation message, derived from an RFID reader part(320). The RFID WIPI platform makes a request to hardware by using basic software so that the RFID reader part can be activated according to the activation message. The activated RFID reader part forwards the raw tag lists to the RFID WIPI platform(330). The RFID WIPI platform filters the raw tag lists according to the defined filtering rule and delivers a result to the mobile RFID application part(340). The mobile RFID application part creates a query message for the raw tag lists and makes it transmitted to an external mobile RFID application part(350).
