Abstract: A system and a method for blocking spam on the internet by using a reputation system are provided to protect a subscriber from an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) spam by enabling an SIP request receiver to block the SIP request and report evaluation information based on reputation score. When an SIP message is received from a caller terminal(103), a sending router transmits an SIP message to which reputation information is added. A reputation management device(102) prepares a reputation information repository, and extracts the reputation information for the terminal of the sender from the reputation information storage. A receiver terminal(106) receives an added SIP message to which the reputation information is added, and processes the SIP message based on the comparison of the reputation information with preset reputation information.
