Abstract: A phase-separating device for a thermal vacuum chamber is provided to control the pressure of LN2 by measuring the amount and the pressure of the LN2. A phase-separating device(100) for a thermal vacuum chamber comprises: a main body(110) installed between the thermal vacuum chamber and an LN2 storage tank using the LN2 of the low pressure; a first pneumatic valve(130) controlling the inflow of the LN2 to an inner part of the main body; a second pneumatic valve(150) controlling the inner pressure of the main body; a third pneumatic valve(160) ejecting the LN2 depressurized in the main body to the thermal vacuum chamber using the LN2 of the low pressure; an LN2 flow meter(120) measuring the amount of the LN2 filled in the inner part of the main body and controlling the on and off of the first pneumatic valve; and a manometer(140) measuring the inner pressure of the main body and controlling the on/off of the second pneumatic valve.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A very low temperature cryogen consumption reduction shroud in a thermal vacuum chamber is provided to reduce the very low temperature cryogen consumption while keeping the temperature of the shroud uniformly. CONSTITUTION: In a very low temperature cryogen consumption reduction shroud in a thermal vacuum chamber, a tube(2) is arranged in a regular interval considering the thermal conduction to a panel(1) from an inlet(3) for liquid nitrogen to a turning point(5). After the turning point, the tube is arranged to be near the tube which is arranged before the turning point to make an outlet(4) for liquid nitrogen near the inlet for liquid nitrogen.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cold trap for removing contaminants during operation of vacuum pump of thermal vacuum chamber that is used to simulate cosmic environment on ground is provided to adsorb contaminants easily while saving consumption of LN2. The adsorbed oil vapor and water vapor are easily removed. The vacuum pump operates only when the temperature of the cold trap set between the vacuum pump and thermal vacuum chamber drop down to 150 deg.C below zero so that oil vapor attaches to the inside of interior vessel thus preventing any back flow to vacuum chamber. CONSTITUTION: The cold trap comprises an exterior vessel(1) and an interior vessel(2) of vertical cylinder type. The interior vessel(2) with bottom closed and a cover(8) fixed to the top edge is set inside the exterior vessel(1) with the edges of both vessels tightly sealed by O-ring(6) and clip(7), at the cover an LN2 inlet with a solenoid valve(10) and a gas discharge line(11) fixed and a temperature sensor(12) being inserted. The exterior vessel(1) set around the interior vessel(2) has a vacuum pump(3) connected to the side middle, a chamber(13) connected to the side middle at the other side and a drain valve(5) at the bottom.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A performance test device for a satellite is provided to improve cost efficiency because an additional freezing unit for controlling humidity is not required by controlling the humidity of a test unit using a temperature controller for the performance test of a satellite. CONSTITUTION: A performance test device (1) for a satellite comprises a test unit (10), a supply unit (20), and a dehumidification unit (30). The test unit provides performance test environment for a satellite. The supply unit supplies a temperature controller for controlling the temperature of the test unit to the test unit.
