Abstract: 본 발명은 차량의 엔진에서 배출되는 배기가스에 함유되어 있는 유해물질을 산화 및 환원시키는 작용을 하는 촉매담채 내부에 가변루트를 형성시켜서 촉매의 효율을 향상시킬 수 있도록 하는 다관절 노즐에 관한 것으로, 촉매가 장착되어 있는 촉매담채에 있어서,
상기 촉매담채에 장착된 촉매를 관통한 상태에서 이동가능하게 설치되며, 양단은 입구영역과 출구영역으로 돌출되도록 설치되어 있는 지지부재와; 상기 입구영역의 입구측 경사내벽에 일단이 연결된 입구측 탄성부재의 타단에 연결되는 제1 밴과; 상기 입구영역으로 돌출된 지지부재의 일단과 제1 밴 각각에 회동가능하도록 연결되는 제2 밴과; 상기 출구영역의 출구측 경사내벽에 일단이 연결된 출구측 탄성부재의 타단에 연결된 채 출구영역으로 돌출된 지지부재의 타단에 고정 연결된 제3 밴;으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 발명이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A catalyst converter of a vehicle is provided to automatically change the purifying performance and the discharge resistance according to the traveling state of the vehicle by using a characteristic by the size of cells of a catalyst carrier. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst converter of a vehicle comprises a converter housing(3) forming an inlet(1) to the engine side and an outlet(2) to the muffler side; a fixed catalyst carrier(5) fixed inside the converter housing; a rotating catalyst carrier(7) rotatably installed inside the converter housing; a rotating unit rotating the rotating catalyst carrier according to the operation state of an engine. The lattice-shaped section of the rotating catalyst carrier is opposite to the lattice-shaped section of the fixed catalyst carrier. The fixed catalyst carrier is installed to the outlet side of the converter housing and the rotating catalyst carrier is installed to the inlet side of the converter housing.
