Abstract: PURPOSE: A throttle lever is provided to promote safe vehicle operation by preventing the accelerator cable from escaping from the throttle lever. CONSTITUTION: A throttle lever(1) opens a throttle valve by being rotated by an accelerator cable(3) which is drawn by the pressing operation of the accelerator pedal. The throttle lever comprises a U-shaped guide rail(2) for guiding the accelerator cable; and a protection cover(6) arranged on the U-shaped guide rail, which prevents escape of the accelerator cable. The protection cover is integrally protruded into the U-shape corresponding to the U-shaped guide rail.
