    Abstract: A front impact energy absorption device for a vehicle is provided to reduce the impact energy delivered to a front side member so that a repair cost of the front side member is reduced. Crash boxes(12a,12b) are provided between front side members(10a,10b) and a bumper beam(11). Flanges(13a,13b) are formed at the front and rear portion of the crash box. Flanges(14a,14b), which are installed at the front portion of the side members and the rear portion of the bumper beam, are coupled to bolts(15a,15b). Support holes are formed on two sidewalls of the crash boxes by a predetermined interval. The support hole has a diameter identical to a bar(22). The support holes are connected to each other through a passage having a diameter smaller than a diameter of the support hole. Two ends of the bar are inserted into the support holes. Connection bars(23a,23b) are installed between the bar and the bumper beam.
