Abstract: A method for analyzing the content of polypropylene is provided to calculate the content of polypropylene in a polypropylene/polyethylene blend used for car interior materials by measuring the melting point of polypropylene with high efficiency and accuracy. A method for analyzing the content of polypropylene in a polypropylene/polyethylene blend comprises the steps of: providing a sample for differential scanning calorimetry by using a polypropylene/polyethylene blend materials; heating the sample from 50 deg.C to 200 deg.C at a heating rate of 10 deg.C/min in a differential scanning calorimeter; and calculating the content of polypropylene.
