Abstract:
At least some aspects of the present disclosure feature a computing device configured to receive an input image of an environment having a plurality of physical notes. The computing device automatically processes the input image to identify at least some of the plurality of the physical notes in the input image and displays the input image and indications indicative of the identified physical notes on a user interface. The computing device receives a user input indicating a position within the input image via a user interface and, responsive to the user input, recognizes proximate to the position a missed one of the physical notes that was not identified by the computing device when initially processing the input image.
Abstract:
This disclosure describes techniques for creating and manipulating software notes representative of physical notes. For example, techniques are described for recognizing physical notes present within a physical environment, capturing information therefrom and creating corresponding digital representations of the physical notes, referred to herein as digital notes or software-based notes. At least some aspects of the present disclosure feature system and methods for note recognition using color classification. The system receives a visual representation of a scene having one or more notes, where each note has a color. The system generates indicators indicative of color classes of pixels in the visual representation. The system further determines a general boundary of one of the notes based on the indicators.
Abstract:
Techniques are described for creating and manipulating software notes representative of physical notes. A computing device is described that includes a processor and an image collection module executable on the processor and configured to receive an input image of an environment having a plurality of physical notes. An image processing engine executable on the processor is configured to identify the plurality of physical notes in the input image and generate, for each of the physical notes, a corresponding digital note. The image processing engine is further configured to identify an indication of one or more groups of the plurality of identified notes in the input image and group the plurality of digital notes according to the indication.
Abstract:
Techniques for creating and manipulating software notes representative of physical notes are described. A note management system comprises a note recognition module configured to receive image data capturing a note having a plurality of color segments, wherein the note recognition module is further configured to generate a plurality of indicators, each indicator indicative of a color class of a pixel or group of pixels within the image data and based on color values of the pixel or group of pixels; and a note extraction module configured to determine general boundaries of the color segments of the note based on the plurality of indicators and extract content using the general boundaries, the content comprising a plurality of content pieces, each of the content pieces corresponding to one of the color segments of the note.

Abstract:
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a method of making an abrasive article. The method can include providing a combination of a mesh backing and a fastener. The mesh backing has a first side and a second side and the mesh backing has a fastener disposed on the second side and intertwined through the mesh backing therein. The combination comprises a raised portion on the first side having a first dimension. The method can include calendering the first side of the mesh backing to form a calendered mesh backing such that the raised portion results in a second dimension. The second dimension is less than the first dimension. The method can include depositing a curable make layer precursor on a major surface of the calendered mesh backing, deposing a plurality of abrasive particles onto the curable make layer precursor, and at least partially curing the curable make layer precursor.
Abstract:
A porous coated abrasive article comprises a porous backing having opposed first and second major surfaces, and a porous abrasive layer disposed on the first major surface. The porous backing comprises a porous oriented thermoplastic film. The porous backing has a land portion and openings extending between the first and second major surfaces. Each opening has a respective area at the first surface, wherein the openings have a number density of 5 to 4600 openings per square inch, and wherein the total area of the openings is from 1 to 90 area percent, based on the combined total areas of the land portion and the openings. The porous abrasive layer is disposed on the first major surface of the porous backing. The porous abrasive layer comprises abrasive particles retained in a binder and has an abrading surface opposite the porous backing, and the second major surface of the porous backing and the abrading surface are in fluid communication through at least some of the openings. A method of making the porous coated abrasive article using flame perforation is also disclosed.
Abstract:
Articles comprising: (1) a sheet having a first surface and a second surface and (2) an separation layer on at least a portion of the first surface, wherein the separation layer comprising (a) a binder layer with particles entrained therein and (b) an overcoat. Also methods for making such articles and methods for using such articles.
Abstract:
Dry erase articles are described comprising a writable surface layer comprising a cured hardcoat composition comprising the reaction product of certain low surface energy compound(s). In one embodiment, the compound(s) comprise a C18-C36 hydrocarbon group and an ethylenically unsaturated group. In another embodiment, a mixture of compounds is utilized, the mixture comprising first compounds comprising a C18-C36 hydrocarbon group and an ethylenically unsaturated group and second compounds comprising a C8-C17 hydrocarbon group and an ethylenically unsaturated group, wherein the first and second compound are present at a weight ratio of 3:2 to 4:1.
Abstract:
At least some aspects of the present disclosure feature a computing device configured to display visual representations of digital notes and one or more group images representing one or more groups on a user interface, where each group may include one or more digital notes.
