    Abstract: A fiber optic telecommunications frame is provided including rotatable panels having front and rear termination locations, the panels positioned on left and right sides of the frame. The frame includes vertical access for the rear cables, and rear cable guides disposed within the frame. The frame further includes left and right vertical cable guides for patch cables. The frame further includes cable storage spools for the patch cables positioned adjacent to the left and right panels of the frame. The frame includes a horizontal passage linking the left and right panels and the cable guides. A lower portion of the frame defines splice tray holders and a central passage from the splice tray holders to the rear sides of the left and right panels. From a front of each panel, access to a rear of the panel is provided by the hinged panels.

    Abstract: A hybrid adapter permits connection of one type of connector, such as an SC-type, with a different type, such as an ST-type connector. An alternative adapter permits connection between an SC-type connector and an FC-type connector. A main body which holds the connectors in axial alignment includes a side opening. An inner housing is configured for mating with the different type connectors. The inner housing is inserted through the side opening, which is closed off by a cover. Various parts of the adapter are common between the two disclosed style adapters.

    Abstract: A storage tray arrangement for storing cable slack in fiber optic systems includes a vertically oriented frame and at least one tray mounted to the frame in a vertical plane parallel to the frame. There is a mounting construction that permits the tray to be pivotally secured to the frame. The mounting construction permits the tray to be selectively pivoted relative to the frame within the vertical plane. In preferred arrangements, the trays are mounted as tray sets having at least two trays mounted to a common pivot post. Particular preferred trays include trays having scalloped side walls. Methods for storing cable slack utilize trays and mounting arrangements as described herein.

The main panel (724) is positioned at a nonperpendicular angle relative to the rear (718), the sides (714, 716) being positioned at a generally perpendicular angle relative to the rear (718).

    Abstract: A fiber termination block including a frame structure adapted to be connected to a fiber distribution rack. The frame structure includes a front end and a rear end. A front fiber optic adapter array is positioned adjacent the front end of the frame structure. A plurality of rear modules are mounted at the rear end of the frame structure. Each of the rear modules defines a front opening. At least one coupler is mounted within each of the rear modules. A plurality of fiber optic cables are provided for transmitting fiber optic signals between the front fiber optic adapter array and the couplers. The fiber optic cables extend through the front openings of the rear modules to access the couplers.
