Abstract: Additives to diesel- and heating fuels based on mineral oil distillates of boilding range 150-400 degrees C for improving their resistance to freezing comprise salt of dialkyl amine having at least one alkyl group with 6 or more C-atoms, and mono- or dibasic aliphatic carboxylic acid with 6-20C atoms, applied in amounts of 0.005-0.2 weight %. Additive are applied to distillates containing crystallisable paraffins; these paraffins begin to separate at temperatures of to -20 degrees C. The pour point can be lowered from -20 to -38 (example) with salt obtained from stearyl amine and adipic acid.
