Abstract: Puerto (300) para establecer circulación de fluido de un recipiente (100) a un conjunto de administración, comprendiendo el puerto: - una válvula (302) que define un vástago hueco (312); - un perforador (306) en el vástago de la válvula y guiado axialmente por el mismo, y - una envuelta roscada (304) que acopla la válvula y el perforador y está dispuesta para girar en correspondencia con la válvula a fin de desplazar el perforador a una posición activa para perforar una película (150) del recipiente (100), caracterizado porque: el perforador tiene un brazo (320a, 320b), y la envuelta roscada tiene una corona (345) situada en la superficie superior de la válvula y unida de manera desmontable a un cuerpo principal de la envuelta roscada mediante secciones rompibles (344), en donde la rotación de la envuelta roscada rompe las secciones rompibles para separar la corona, y porque el puerto comprende además patillas en voladizo (314) que sobresalen de la válvula para impedir que el perforador se salga axialmente de dicha válvula.

Abstract: A formed, filled, and sealed container (100), access port (200, 300, 400, 500) and method for establishing fluid flow from the container to an administrative set is provided. The container (100) is collapsible and has an inlet (120) and an outlet (130). A hollow port (160) is sealed to the container and a perforator inside the port pierces and becomes embedded in the container. Solution in the container is withdrawn into the port. A line (140) attached to the port and an administrative set further establishes flow between the container and the administration set. The port may be operated with a single-hand to establish fluid flow from the container to the administrative set. After the perforator is embedded in the container,a lock on the port prevents the perforator from removal from the container. Activation of the lock produces an audible and/or visible notification.

Abstract: FORMED, FILLED, SEALED SEALED CONTAINER, PORT AND METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING FLOW BETWEEN THE CONTAINER AND AN ADMINISTRATION SET A formed, filled, and sealed container, access port and method for established fluid flow from the container to an administrative set is provided. The container is collapsible and has an inlet and an outlet. A hollow port is sealed to the container and a perforator inside the port pierces and becomes embedded in the container. Solution in the container is withdrawn into the port. A line attached to the port and an administrative set further establishes flow between the container and the administration set. The port may be operated with a single-hand to establish fluid flow from the container to the administrative set. After the perforator is embedded in the container, a lock on the port prevents the perforator from removal from the container. Activation of the lock produces an audible and/or visible notification.
