Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce adhesion of oil sand to the surface of a belt by providing a belt apparatus body with an adhesive matter stripping decive in a coveying belt for oil sand or the like. CONSTITUTION:Oil sand 5 supplied from a hopper 6 is conveyed in direction of an arrow (a) along a belt 4. On return side of the belt 4, an adhesive matter stripping deivce 7 is provided at one or plural places on the lower side of a head pulley 2, on the lower side of the belt 4 or on the lower portion of a tail pulley 3, thereby to adhere oil sand 5 remaining on the belt 4 to a stripping pulley 8 and scratch off same by a scratching plate 9. Thus, adhesion of oil sand can be reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel and a method for displaying a picture with which displaying and erasing a picture are repeatedly carried out, which do not require use of a conventional picture display medium such as a paper and consumables such as a developer, ink and so on and which respond to a today's demand to lighten the environmental load.
SOLUTION: One, two or more cells surrounded by partition walls on the peripheries are formed between two sheets 1, 2 which are placed opposite to each other keeping a specified distance in between and of which at least one is transparent. In containing easily mobile particle groups (first invention) or a granulated body 3 (second invention) in the respective cells, the easily mobile particle group or the granulated body which consists of two kinds of components with mutually different charge polarities and mutually different colors, is contained in the cells in a state in which the two kinds of the components are charged with mutually different charge polarities. The picture is displayed by transferring the easily mobile particle group or the granulated body with an electrostatic field based on an electrostatic latent image corresponding to the picture to be displayed formed on the outside surface of the sheet.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a lithium cell with the small internal resistance and excellent storage characteristic and in addition the excellent cycle characteristic as a secondary cell by using a negative electrode processed with moisture on the surface of a negative electrode material containing lithium. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a negative electrode of a lithium cell provided with the negative electrode containing lithium, a positive electrode and an electrolyte provided between the positive and negative electrodes is processed with moisture. A lithium metal, a lithium alloy or a lithium/carbon composite material can be used as the negative electrode containing lithium to be processed with moisture. Polyacetylene or the like can be used as the positive electrode, a metal selenium compound such as VSe2 can be also used. The lithium in the negative electrode is effectively prevented from being reacted with the electrolyte and deteriorating the cell characteristic, a lithium cell with the small internal resistance and the excellent storage characteristic and in addition the excellent cycle characteristic as a secondary cell is obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to alloy in a short time by immersing two lithium alloy plates in which the content of lithium is 100-80% in molar ratio and 0-10% in molar ratio in an electrolyte containing a lithium salt to alloy them. CONSTITUTION:A lithium plate or a lithium alloy plate in which the content of lithium is 100-80% in molar ratio, and a lithium-free metal plate alloyable with lithium or a lithium alloy in which the content of lithium is 0-10% in molar ratio are press-bonded so that its one side is the lithium alloy plate. This press-bonded plates are immersed in an electrolyte comprising a lithium salt-containing organic solution to alloy them. The adhesion of the press-bonded plates is improved compared with usual press-bonded plates of a lithium plate and an alloyable metal plate. The separation of the press-bonded plates is prevented and electron transfer pathes required for alloying reaction are ensured. Therefore, an alloy is quickly formed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent generation of pitting by limiting the content of nickel in a stainless steel base to 10wt.% or less in a conductive composite comprising a conductive polymer and the stainless steel base. CONSTITUTION:In a conductive composite material obtained by forming a conductive polymer such as polyaniline on stainless steel by electrolytic oxidation polymerization, the content of nickel in the stainless steel is limited to 10wt.% or less. When the composite material is used as the electrode or current collector of a battery, generation of pitting is prevented. For example, a stainless steel net having a nickel content of 9.30wt.% is immersed in an electrolyte containing 1 mol/l aniline and 2 mol/l HBF4 and electrolytic oxidation polymerization is conducted at a current density of 6 mA/cm at 15 deg.C for 2.5hours to obtain a composite material. For the battery using this composite material, although charge-discharge is repeated 68 cycles until discharge capacity is reduced to half or less of the initial capacity, no pitting is developed.

CONSTITUTION:Li is clad with a metal to be the object of alloying which is to be alloyed with Li, and the resulting clad matter is immersed in an electrolyte-containing organic solvent, by which Li is alloyed with the metal to be the object of alloying so as to be formed into an Li alloy. In this method, Li and the metal to be the object of alloying are clad in a state where a conductive material capable of passing Li ions, such as metallic mesh of stainless steel, Ti, Ni, etc., or punching metal, is provided between the above Li and metal. By this method, an electron-transfer path until the Li metal reaches the metal to be the object of alloying in the form of Li ions and is alloyed with the above metal electrochemically can be always secured at the time of alloying reaction. Accordingly, alloying reaction time can be shortened, and further, an alloy free from residual Li at the surface can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simply manufacture lithium alloy electrode in a short time by pressurize a battery case in which positive and negative electrodes and electrolyte are sealed and a battery is assembled. CONSTITUTION:After positive and negative electrodes and electrolyte are sealed in a battery case and a battery is assembled, the battery case is pressurized. Namely, by keeping the battery case under a pressure condition, preferably 10 kg/cm or more, the alloying reaction time of a clad matter of metal and lithium can be remarkably reduced, and a lithium alloy with less amount of residual lithium is obtained. By the arrangement, effective manufacture as well as good performance of battery is surely achieved and cycle life in charge and discharge time, internal resistance and self-discharge characteristics are improved.
