Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce shearing deformation between layers around a belt end which is generated at the time of inflating or rotating under a load condition. CONSTITUTION:The first belt 26 is buried near the third ply 18 inside the tread 22 of a guide wheel pneumatic radial tire for a track traveling vehicle 10. The second belt 28 which is provided with a layer crossing with the first belt 26 is buried at the outside in the diametrical direction of the first belt 26 along the first belt 26 to reinforce the tread 22. Besides, the radius of curvature R2 in the diametrical direction of first belt 26 and the second belt 28 is set at 0.7-1.2 times of the radius R1 of curvature of a tire crown part 22A.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To relax the side force so as to sufficiently restrain the leaver ware abrasion by enlarging the side force of a rib edge of a main groove and the travel to the ground pressure by striations formed substantially parallel to the main groove and optimizing the amplitude and the peripheral pitch of the main groove. CONSTITUTION:Four main grooves 14 extended in zigzag along the peripheral direction of a tire are formed on a tread 12 of the tire 10. Further, zigzag peripheral ribs 16 divided in the cross direction of the tire by the main grooves 14 are formed on the tread 12. In this case, the half pitch P/2 of the main groove 14 is 6-12mm and the amplitude F of one side rib edge 18 of the main groove 14 is 1.5-4.5mm. Further, in a position of a distance 3-7mm from a rib edge 18 of the main groove 14 to the center side of the rib 16, striations 20 are formed parallel to the main grooves 14 along the main grooves 14. In this case, the width C of the striations 20 is 0.5-2mm. Thus, the rib edges 18 are moved in the direction of working the side force and the ground pressure so as to relax the side force.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a ply stair and improve uneven wear resisting performance by forming a plurality of cut-outs on the surface of a tread and setting the direction of cutting these cut-outs and the cut-out angle to meet specified requirements for the equator surface of tire. CONSTITUTION:A tire 21 is provided with a tread 22 extending circumferentially and a belt 25 having a plurality of belt layers 25a-25d consisting of steel cords 24. And the tread 22 is formed on the surface with a plurality of main grooves 27 extending circumferentially and ribs 28 defined by the main grooves 27. In the above construction, the rib 28 is formed with a plurality of siper (cut-outs) 30. And the direction of cut-out 30 crosses slantly the direction of steel cord 24a in the outer-most belt layer 25a nearest to the tread 22 on the equator surface E of tire. Also, the cut-out angle theta30 of the direction of cutting out the siper 30 made to the equator surface E of tire is set to 5-85 degrees.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To greatly enhance durability, by a method wherein reinforcement of a crown part by belts is so provided as to permit the crown part to be elongated in a predetermined range, in a wheel with a rubber tire filled with an elastic material such as polyurethane. CONSTITUTION:A carcass 2 comprising carcass plies extended between a pair of bead cores 5, 5 is provided to reinforce a body of the tire together with the belts 4 consisting of two rubberized metallic cord layers surrounding the crown part 3 over the entire width of the part 3. The hollow interior of the tire is filled with an elastic material comprising polyurethane as a main constituent. In this case, the reinforcement of the crown part by the belts 4 is so provided that the pressure dependency of the expansion of the outside diameter at room temperature by the filling of compressed air into the tire fitted to a rim permits the crown part 3 to be elongated in the range of 12.5-3.5kg/cm per 0.5% of initial growth of the outside diameter. The two belts 4 are so provided that the cords are arranged symmetrically on lelt and right sides of the crown part 3 with an intersecting angle of 24-48 deg..

SOLUTION: A distance sensor 21 is installed above the approach conveyor 12, and the distance L between the distance sensor 21 and the winding drum 10 is measured by synchronizing the distance sensor 21 with the conveyor 12 to move it in the winding drum 10. The distance between the tip end 12a of the conveyor 12 and the winding drum 10 is calculated by using the distance L. The conveyor 12 is moved in the winding drum 10 based on the distance X, and the conveyor 12 is stopped when the distance X becomes the thickness of a tire member 11 mounted on the conveyor 12.

And to the tread 24, small grooves 30 are formed extending linearly in the tire circumferential direction, at the positions separated 2mm or more to the center side in the tire radius direction, and 5mm or more to the outer side in the tire radius direction.
