Abstract: In a flame-retardant rubber tire comprising an outer rubber body portion consisting essentially of a tread rubber layer, a sidewall rubber layer extending inward from each side edge of the tread rubber layer toward the vicinity of a bead portion in radial direction and a rubber chafer layer arranged in the vicinity of the bead portion, a flame-retardant rubber composition having an oxygen index of not less than 19.8 but not more than 27.5 is disposed so as to amount at least 20% by weight of the tread rubber layer. Such rubber tires are used in electric vehicles, automobiles, airplanes and the like and have excellent self-extinguishing property and flame-delaying property without damaging other rubber properties.

Abstract: The invention relates to a radial tyre for heavy loads comprising a tread strip T, two walls S, a carcass C composed of at least one layer comprising cables approximately perpendicular to the circumferential direction of the tyre and a belt B arranged radially outside the carcass on almost all the tread strip, formed from cables having an elastic modulus at 1 % extension not less than 3 x 10 kg/mm and comprising at least one main layer B1 whose cables are arranged in a helix with a very low helix pitch, being almost parallel to the circumferential direction of the tyre, and at least one auxiliary layer B2 arranged radially inside the main layer and comprising cables inclined at a relatively significant angle on the circumferential direction of the tyre, so that almost all the traction caused in service along the circumferential direction due to the internal pressure is supported by the main layer, which constrains the increase in diameter of the tread strip.

Abstract: HIGH INTERNAL PRESSURE TYPE HEAVY DUTY PNEUMATIC RADIAL TIRES High internal pressure type heavy duty pneumatic radial tires are disclosed, which each comprise a tread. Each tire is formed and vulcanized in a mold, and the tread has an outer contour inside the mold, which outer contour sectionally consists of a curve halving a positive radius of curvature with a curvature center on a side of a tire axis at a central portion of the tread extending between points "m" being oppositely separated from a tread (TW/2) center by 0.64 to 0.85 of a half of a width of the tread and a curve having a negative radius of curvature with a curvature center on a side opposite to the tire axis at tread shoulder portions axially outside said points "m". The negative radius of curvature has an absolute value of 1 to 30 of the tread width (TW). A tread shoulder edge drop-correcting value H3 is in a range from 0.05 to 0.04 of H1 which is a radially dropped amount of an edge of the tread which would be formed in a mold sectionally having a single radius of curvature and the entire outer contour of the tread radially outwardly expands from that inside the . mold by applying a use internal pressure to the tire to form the outer contour of the tread at a single radius of curvature.
