Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve rigidity and the like of a carcass ply cord by forming the carcass ply code out of a twisted cord consisted of a monofilament cord and a multifilament cord having specific air permeability. CONSTITUTION:The tire has a pair of bead parts, right and left, and a carcass ply in bias cord arrangement from one side of the bead part to the other side of the bead part through a crown part. Besides, it has a tread layer covering the outside of the carcass ply, and a breaker positioned in the crown part inside the tread and outside the carcass ply. In the above-stated constitution, the carcass ply cord has respectively monofilament cord over 2/3 portion and multifilament cord remaining under 1/3 portion, and is formed as a twisted cord. And air permeability of the multifilament cord is instituted over 4kgcm /hr.
