    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material which is prepared by applying to a base directly a material constituted of a fluorine-containing polymer excellent in the adhesion to the base, without necessitating complicated processes of formation of a binder layer, surface treatment and others and to provide the composite material which is excellent in bonding properties, transparency and design properties in addition to weather resistance, stainproof properties, non- tackiness, chemical resistance and sliding properties. SOLUTION: This composite material is prepared by a method wherein a material constituted of a functional-group-containing and fluorine-containing ethylene polymer prepared by copolymerization of (a) at least one kind of monomer of 0.05-30 mol.% out of functional-group-containing and fluorine-containing ethylene monomers each having at least one kind of functional group selected from the group comprising a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, a carboxylic acid salt, a carboxyester group and an epoxy group and (b) at least one kind of monomer of 70-99.95 mol.% out of fluorine-containing ethylene monomers not having the aforesaid functional group is applied to a base directly.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give excellent wear resistance, flaw resistance, transparency (design property) and sufficient hardness by providing a film, in which copolymer fine particles of specific fluorine-containing ethylenic monomer is dispersed in a metal oxide layer on a surface of a base material. SOLUTION: The weather resistant composite material is provided by forming a film in which fine particles obtained by copolymerizing 0.05 to 50 mol.% of a functional group-containing fluoroethylenic monomer having a functional group represented by a formula 1 selected from a hydroxyl group, and 50 to 99.95 mol.% of fluoroethylenic monomer containing no functional group represented by a formula II on a surface of a base material. In the formula I, Y indicates CH2 OH X and X indicate the same or different, hydrogen atom or fluorine atom, and Rf indicates alkylene group including 1-40C bivalent fluoroalkylene group. In the formula II, Rf indicates CF3 or ORf (Rf indicates 1-5C perfluoroalkyl group).

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite materials for building material which are excellent in weather resistance, thermal resistance, stain resistance, anti-adhesion, transparency (design property), anti-corrosion, water resistance, anti-weathering, flame retardancy, and abrasion resistance by a method wherein the composite materials for building material are provided by applying materials composed of polymer containing fluorine which is excellent in adhesion to a base material without requiring a complicated process. SOLUTION: The composite materials for building material is provided by applying materials composed of fluorine-containing ethylene polymer having a functional group of polymerizing (a) 0.0530 mol% of at least one kind of monomer of fluoroethylene monomer containing at least one kind of a functional group selected from a group composed of hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, carboxylic acid, carboxyester group, and epoxy group, and (b) 70-99.5 mol% at least one kind of monomer of fluorine-containing ethylene monomer without containing the abovementioned functional group in (c), to a base material.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a slidable composite material with a superior anti- scratching property and transparency, and having a sufficient hardness by providing on the surface of material a skin film having minute particles of a polymer polymerized with a functional group-containing or uncontaining fluoroethylene monomer copolymerized respectively by a specific quantity, dispersed in a metallic compound layer. SOLUTION: At least one kind of a 0.05-50 mol.% monomer of a functional group-containing fluoroethylene monomer is prepared, which is selected from groups consisting of a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, a carboxylic acid salt, a carboxylic ester group, and an expoxy group. Then, a skin film is formed on the surface of a base material, in which this and minute particles of a fluorine-containing ethylenic polymer having a functional group consisting of being polymerized with at least one kind of 50-99.95 mol.% of aforementioned fluorine-containing ethylenic polymer having no function group are dispersed in a metallic oxide layer being a matrix.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a non-adhesive composite material having excellent wear resistance and transparency by providing a film in which fine particles of polymer containing specific mol% of a functional group and fluoroethylenic monomer containing no functional group are dispersed in a metal oxide layer on a surface of a base material. SOLUTION: 0.05 to 30 mol% of at least one type of monomer of functional group-containing fluoroethylenic monomer having at least one type of functional group selected from a group consisting of hydroxyl group, carboxyl group, carboxylate, carboxyester group and epoxy group is contained. Further, particles of fluoroethylenic polymer having a functional group copolymerized with it and 70 to 99.95 mol% of at least one type of monomer of nitrogen-containing ethylenic monomer having no functional group are formed. A film obtained by dispersing it in a metal oxide layer of a matrix is formed on a surface of the base material as a non-adhesive composite material.
