To provide a fluorine-containing olefin represented, for example, by CH2=CFCF2-Rf -(CH2)k-X Äwherein, X is -CH2OH, Rf is a fluorine-substituted fluorine-containing alkyl group having 1 to 40 carbon atoms or -ORf - (Rf is a fluorine-substituted fluorine-containing alkyl group having 1 to 40 carbon atoms or a fluorine-substituted fluorine-containing ether group having 3 to 50 carbon atoms), k is 0 or an integer of 1 to 6Ü; a fluorine-containing polymer with functional group which is prepared by polymerizing the above-mentioned olefin, has good affinity with various heat-resisting thermoplastic resins and is capable of forming homogeneous dispersion with the thermoplastic resin; and a thermoplastic resin composition comprising the above-mentioned fluorine-containing polymer with functional group and an aromatic polyester or the like as the heat-resisting thermoplastic resin.

The present invention can provide a composition comprising various heat resisting thermoplastic resins and a fluorine-containing polymer having a functional group which is capable of developing an affinity with said resins and forming a uniform dispersion.

A laminated article is provided which comprises: (A) a layer of an adhesive comprising a fluorine-containing ethylenic polymer having hydroxyl groups, the polymer being obtainable by copolymerizing: (a) 0.05 to 30 % by mole of at least one of fluorine-containing ethylenic monomer having hydroxyl; and (b) 70 to 99.95 % by mole of at least one fluorine-containing ethylenic monomer having no hydroxyl and which is copolymerizable with the monomer (a); and (B) a layer of an inorganic material or an organic material. The laminated article can be formed into a fluorine-containing adhesive film in which the layer (B) is formed from a fluorine-containing polymer having no functional group in its branched chain, a non-fluorine containing (organic) polymer, a metallic (inorganic) material, or a silicon-based (inorganic) material.

A resin composition which gives a molded article having both of excellent mechanical properties and abrasion resistance with maintaining excellent thermal resistance, chemical resistance, surface characteristics (non-sticking property, low friction property), electric insulating property, etc. of a fluorine-containing polymer; a molded article obtained from the resin composition; and a method for producing the molded article are provided. The resin composition comprises: (A-1) a fluorine-containing ethylenic polymer prepared by copolymerizing at least one of fluorine-containing monomers having any one of hydroxyl, carboxyl, a carboxylate salt group, a carboxylate ester group or epoxy in an amount of 0.05 to 30 % by mole on the basis of the total amount of monomers, and (B-1) an inorganic filler or a non-meltable organic filler, wherein said resin composition comprises 1 to 99.5 % by weight of the component (A-1) and 0.5 to 99 % by weight of the component (B-1).

The coating film, which comprises a continuous fluoropolymer layer directly bonded to a base, has a thickness less than 3 mu m and is characterized in that the fluoropolymer has hydrophilic functional groups and a crystalline melting point of 200 DEG C or higher.
